I would definitely recommend volunteering here. The work is quite easy and laid back, and Kostas and his son are friendly and respectful of agreed upon hours and day off. The hostel has a nice vibe and routine, and there are a lot of travellers that pass through here, so it's great to meet and chat with guests. Ioannina is a beautiful city, and there is plenty to do, but you could probably see it all within a few days, so if you have limited time, I think no more than 2 weeks is great. :)

Had a lot of fun volunteering here. Ioannina is such a nice part of Greece. Met so many new people. The hostel was so nice and a very friendly atmosphere. Would definitely recommend to work /stay here :)

We stayed a week at Kostas's place and it was a really nice week! The hostel is clean and we felt very comfortable. Kostas and his are great, Kostas cooked great meals for us and was always willing to share his food which was really convenient ! About the work, it was mostly about cleaning and welcoming the new guests, it was not too much but you need to be fine with the micro-management because Kostas will check on everything :) ! We also worked in his farm, his mum was lovely, but we hadn't much flexibility to do what we wanted and we were a bit dependent on him. Thanks Kostas! See you!

I had a good time volunteering here! I found the work very relaxed and easy, and the hours you work each day gives you plenty of free time to explore the area. The more I explored the city the more I fell in love with the area. Kostas is very generous in providing for his staff and he was always ready to help answer questions I had or guests had about the area. Overall I enjoyed my time here!

This was an interesting experience. Ioannina is beautiful and you can see almost everything in about 2 days, meaning you don't need to stay here longer then 2 weeks. I feel like I was here too long and started to loose my motivation, but my first 2 weeks here were great! Kostas is friendly to all guests, but to me he could be a bit condescending and micromanaging, which after 4 weeks got a little aggrevating. His son George and his girlfriend are awesome. I had such a great time talking to them and they were very understanding and laid back. If you like to relax, eat good food you enjoy it!

Fue mi primera experiencia viajando sola y haciendo un voluntariado, y sin dudas; que Kostas haya sido mi primer anfitrión fue clave para mi. No solamente cumple con cada item que propone en la pagina si no que es una persona que te acompaña en toda tu estadia, te aconseja y no deja que falte nada. Las tareas a realizar son super llevaderas. Sin dudas y si pudiera quiero volver. Gracias Kostas !!

Kosta ( anfitrião )é uma pessoa humilde, alegre e de bem com a vida. A cidade é pequena e tem uma história sobre um ditador que vale apena conhecer um pouco é bem interessante. Pratiquei inglês, aprendi sobre a cultura local,Kostas as vezes faz o jantar bem gostosa a comida grega. Eu saí 2 dias antes do final do meu voluntário. Fiquei bastante dias lá. Acredito que 2 semanas é o suficiente ❤️ atrações locais : castelo, pequena ilha, cave, hiking... Ate ++
