Help us in a restaurant with a wonderful view of the mid-Atlantic. We are on the highest mountain in Portugal, an island to be explored—a young and fun team. We are looking for people who want to have cultural exchanges, explore new places, and talk to people.

It was my first Worldpackers experience and I had a great time in Pico. The island is beautiful and there is a lot to do. Verónica and her family treated me like a part of them and took me on various excursions and showed me the island and the surrounding area. They are very nice and welcoming people and you immediately feel at home there. The work is not particularly difficult and the working hours are not too long, so you have enough time to explore the island. The staff in the restaurant that I worked with were also very nice and I made some new friends. I will recommed it to all of you:)

Me and my boyfriend had the best time at Pico! You are truly a part of a small family and Verónica and her mother take such great care of you and help you with all the necessary things. The food was delicious, the work was not complicated and the colleges were super nice, even though only a few spoke English. I've been volunteering many times and this was far the best one I've had. I can only recommend the host and I hope I can come back one day <3 thank you for an amazing time!

Recomendo esta experiência para quem quer conhecer a ilha do Pico. A Verônica e a D. Esperança são pessoas impecáveis, fizeram me sentir em casa e são muito flexíveis. O trabalho é no fim do dia e dá perfeitamente para aproveitar o dia a descobrir a ilha, nos dias livres dá para conhecer as ilhas vizinhas Faial e São Jorge. Obrigada por tudo 🥰
