The Experience

Our little family is working at establishing agroforestry systems and a herbal medicine apothecary. We've moved into a community so that we can work the land, and we're in the process of establishing our house. We'd like some assistance with caretaking our children - Kaya is 3 and Sage is 8 months old. And this will support us in moving forward with our farming projects, and work on the house.

I had a wonderful stay with Jedda and Jackson, they always made me feel super welcome. Even though they have a small house they always made an effort for me to have my own space that I could recooperate. The kids are super sweet and if you love kids I definitely recommend staying here! Nothing unexpected was asked, just childcare and maybe the dishes here and there. The people in the community are great company and if you run into any it's definitely worth a chat. Overall it was a lovely stay, and I recommend to anyone who wants some time to reconnect with nature!

Jedda and Jackson were very welcoming and made sure I was well taken care of during my stay! The kids are so smart and it was so interesting to get a glimpse into their lives. A very remote and different way of living than I am used to, so it was an adjustment at first, but I really appreciate the experience. I loved learning about their community and how they are working on their apothecary! A great break from my otherwise busy holiday. I'm very happy to have developed relationships out of this experience and will definitely visit if I come back to Australia:) Thank you!
