I had a great time with Chris as a host. She provided healthy and tasty meals, and was able to accommodate some intolerance/preferences. The river close by was perfect to cool off on hot days. I saw toucans, giant lizards and lots of monkeys in the backyard, and many sloths at the pier in town. The bed was not as comfortable as what I am used to, but it wasn't the worst either. Change speaks English very well, and definitely treated all of us with respect and kindness 😊

Christ is such a beautiful soul. I really enjoyed meeting her and I'm very interested in her ideas and future plans. She is very motivated to create impactful change and clearly cares deeply about people. Our week was a little chaotic due to some un forseen situations and so i did not manage to do much of the work that we had spoken about..however even considering the difficulties, I am glad to have gone and met christ and she is a great spanish teacher too, I found it easy to learn from her and felt my spanish improve. The area is beautiful too. I would recommend!

I stayed with Christ's mom and dad ( Sandra & Angel) at their place and it was an amazing experience. Since the beginning Christ helped me by answering the questions I had, especially, with those questions about how to get to her mom's finca. Now, Sandra and Angel were amazing hosts for me. They made me feel safe and they taught me skills that I can use for myself in the future. Communication was key and I'm grateful that I met them. They are awesome! The place is a little far from the small town, but you can get there by walking and you will see beautiful views! You will love it here!

I spent two amazing weeks with Christ. She is very lovely and welcoming! The tasks are pretty easy and Christ is very flexible about the work and time. As she just moved, we didn't actually did much about permaculture but we helped her with the volunteer's house decoration, build the fence, helped her during the architectural class, and we also had the opportunity to work at her mom's farm. Everything was very nice and interesting. Thank you so much Christ for the time you shared with us, take care ✨️

Christ is an incredible and VERY kind host. The work was very easy, and often fun. And is flexible if you have anything you're committed to. I learned so much in the 10 days I was there! But I will say from an honest point, that not everything that was advertised was immediately available or accessible. And thats mainly due to it not having been updated as she recently moved into a new house. So if there's something specific you're wanting from the experience like dance classes or something, I would ask Christ ahead of time to see if she can make arrangements for it :)
