What an amazing experience at the host. A unique place where the time stops. Equipments are rudimentary, no electricity, dry toilet, rustic shower, however, it can really be a great experience to reconnect to more important things. Owners are exceptional people. They always try to make everything the most comfortable as possible, with smile and positive attitude. The food is really good and local. Same with schedules and work, really easy going. They let us choose our own schedules, day off, and type of work. So, in conclusion, nice place in nature, good atmosphere and positive people

Joe and Nikita are special people, very kind, polite and organized. Nikita built a brick deck by the river, a very well finished and beautiful job. Nikita and Joe improved the natural bathroom with bamboo construction. And finally they opened 1400 meters of bicycle singletrack, excellent work. they are always in a good mood and they exercise regularly. thank you guys, you are always welcome!

Pessoas como Edi e Adi são raras. Conseguem transmitir sua consciência com a natureza de forma didática e apaixonada. Dedicam sua vida a esse paraíso ecológico, que é um verdadeiro suspiro de alívio da natureza. Para aqueles buscando um modo alternativo e sustentável de viver, o Refúgio das Araucárias é esse lugar, uma real experiência roots, e podem ter certeza de que serão muito bem tratados! Termino meu voluntariado com uma nova visão do mundo, melhor e mais sensível ao meio ambiente, guardarei esses dois com muito carinho e com certeza buscarei voltar!

O Felipe e a materialização da palavra 'tranquilidade'. Sempre disposto a auxiliar e aprender. Realizou um trabalho muito legal de preparação de berços para plantio de espécies da Mata Atlântica, juntamente com o Davi e o Raphael do workaway. E uma pessoa fisicamente preparada, também auxiliou em uma atividade mais pesada, carregamento de toras !! Esperamos que o Felipe retorne em breve e recomendamos ele a todos que esperam uma colaboração nas tarefas mais diversas !!!

O Jorge é um baderneiro e só quer saber de vida boa :) !!! É a pessoa perfeita que estava faltando na nossa comunidade. Este mês estávamos em seis voluntários, eu(Adilson) e a Edi. A presença do Jorge foi fundamental para colapsar o sistema. É uma pessoa que aterrissou no planeta Terra recentemente e ainda está se adaptando. Não recomendo o Jorge, pq ele vai ficar por aqui....brincadeiras a parte, recomendo o Jorge 100%. Pessoa talentosa e com grande sensibilidade.

A dedicação da Edi e do Adilson ao que fazem é o inspiradora! Eles são um casal que dá gosto de ver! sempre muito prazerosos os momentos de socialização. aprendi muito conservando com eles e a Edi é uma cozinheira vegetariana de mão cheia! o refúgio é lindo. a sensação de plantar árvores e ajudar na manutenção de um lugar como aquele é maravilhosa. o rio, uma atração a parte :-)

A Aline é uma excelente voluntária. Muito pró-ativa, super animada, com habilidades variadas como orientadora sobre mídias sociais, marketing e atividades que exigem atenção e sensibilidade. É uma hóspede super tramquila, organizada e disciplinada. Recomendamos muito a Aline !!! :)
