Helping hands welcome at Tuscan glamping/agriturismo

I think there's a few things that you should be aware of before coming into this experience to avoid shock or dissatisfaction. In the dome where the volunteers sleep the only furnishing is mattresses on the floor. There's no space to store away your stuff. There is no ac or any fan, so in the summer it gets extremely hot. The dome is also similarly built to a tent, which lets outside animals like mice, lizards and insects get inside. During my stay we had problem with both mice and lizards. The mice would wake us up several times a night. The shared bathroom with guests has no lock

Hello Alva, thank you for your feedback. I appreciate it. You are right! This year we have had lots of mice problems even in the main house. As soon as I found out, I took action and I hope the mice problem is resolved now.
It has been extremely hot this summer and I know that the dome get very hot during the day. There is a solar powered ventilator, but I agree that it does little to help.
Thank you for the bathroom alert. We will install a lock soon!
Best wishes/Gaia

My experience at the lodge was a great one. Gaia (and his entire family) is very caring and accommodating. He has many great stories to tell, and will try to make sure you feel at home. The workload was manageable. It varies depending on the time of year, but my tasks included: watering the garden and feeding the chickens, painting a deck, cleaning the big dome and helping in the kitchen. I was always given instructions on what to do and Gaia was there to help me if I had questions. One thing to keep in mind is the remoteness of the property. I would make sure to pack a book or such.

Dear Andrei, thank you for your kind words and positive review. Our whole family felt very fortunately to get to know you and experience the the times together. Your tasks were not always easy, but you managed all of them with joy and ease. I regret there were no other volunteers during most of your time. That would certainly make our isolated farm feel more fun. I appreciate you and wish you all the best with future worldpackers experiences.

My first volunteering couldn't be better! Gaia and Marketa, thank you so much for everything! The experience was incredible, they were always concerned about whether everything was ok and also provided a welcoming and familiar environment! I will definitely be back, I felt at home, and it wasn't easy to say goodbye to them, I left with a heavy heart!

It was my first volunteering at worldpackers, and it couldn't be better! The place we stayed is super comfortable, and being in the middle of the mountains is magical. The host whenever he can takes us to meet places and eat pizza! Super kind, cool and welcoming! I loved the experience and I will definitely miss it 🥺🩷

My time with Gaia and his family was unforgettable and impactful. Although I only stayed two weeks I feel to be apart of their team and family. They were welcoming, accommodating, and very caring of their staff and guests. The property itself was stunning and I couldn't get enough of the views and chickens. They show love and compassion with everything they do. Thank you, Gaia!

Thoroughly enjoyed my time at the lodge! Gaia & Marketa have created such a beautiful, loving home for their children and all travellers who stay with them. They were welcoming, very generous and always checked in to ask how we were feeling to make sure we were okay. The farm is rather isolated so it did take a few days for me to settle in but the scenery is beautiful and serene. If you're used to living in the countryside then this is just the place for you! I do suggest if you love snacking like I do, to bring snacks with you. Wonderful people who I'd love to come back and visit!

I went to the lodge with my best friend as helpers, and even though we only stayed for five days, due to personal engagements, we truly enjoyed our staying! The hosts are very nice and they took care of us for the whole time always making sure we had all the comforts we needed and caring for our safety. They also let us have lots of fun! The tasks they required us to do were not too hard and we could choose from a wide range of activities, so you don't get bored. The location is stunning there is a very big space to enjoy nature and we had all the comforts and privacy we needed.

I had a lovely time with Gaia, Markéta their kids, Jana and of course the dogs! <3 They are very welcoming people and I felt home since the first day. Tasks were easy and they always asked if you don't mind doing them. The place is surrounded by beautiful nature and peaceful energy. They were taking us to restaurants and trips and we had a lot of fun! I will definitely visit them someday to see how they are doing. I would rate this stay a 10/10 and I would recommend it to everyone. :) Thank you, Karolína.

I had a beautiful time with Gaia's family, Jana and the dog's. I liked this place, nature around and the most beautiful daily sunsets. They took us to local towns and told us something about their history. Daily tasks were easy, only thing that was difficult about it was the weather. I'm 100% sure I want to visit the lodge again. Great people, great time. David

I had a lovely time with Gaia and Marketa in their beautiful home, they have created a wonderful life for their children and have made a calm atmosphere for all the visitors they welcome onto their property. It is surrounded by gorgeous nature, with plenty of opportunities to help with gardening, looking after chickens, preparing yurts and teepees for guests and helping with meals. Alongside this, there was lots of time to relax, enjoy being within this stunning environment, swim in the lovely pool, visit the local towns. I felt so comfortable here, and would love to go back. Thank you :)
