Gaia and the whole family are very kind, understanding and wonderful. They live in such a beautiful place in connection with nature and the local culture. Me and the other volunteers stayed in a cute trailer. We mostly helped with picking olives which was so much fun and required a lot of team effort. We also helped with cleaning the rooms for guests, taking care of the chickens and general gardening. Every task was explained very well and checked when finished, I felt that my work was appreciated. Communication was easy and hours were flexible. I highly recommend this experience!

Thanks for giving me a second home and family.🥰 I had an awesome stay at the lodge, the family is really welcoming and treat you as one of them. They always there is you need anything and when I injured my feet they helped me, gave me bandages and similar to help me heal. Gaia also took us to a natural spring and offered to drive us to town nearby to explore! Gaia is really flexible with the work hours. I did a lot of different work, olive harvesting (so cool and interesting to learn everything about that), gardening, painting, cleaning, cooking, playing with Elena and Adam! 🩷

The whole the lodge family is very welcoming and kind. They were always making sure that us volunteers had everything we needed and felt comfortable. They gave us clear instructions and were patient and understanding. the lodge is in a very beautiful spot and the hosts put a lot of care and creativity into their work to maintain the property. I enjoyed my stay a lot, I learnt a couple of new skills, one among them is how to take care of ducks and chickens, which was very wholesome! the lodge is perfect for people who like to be close to nature and are ready to get inspired by it.

My experience in the lodge was great, I enjoyed all the time and I was really close to the culture and the enviroment. The heat wasn't the best for me at the begining hahaha but I did my best and the connections I did there I will always have them in my heart. Gaia and his family are good people and so sweet!

Gaia picked me up at the train station. From the beginning Gaia was very open, friendly and asked a lot about me. Gaia really seemed who is very happy because of a new volunteer. Gaia and his family treated me equially and I felt I know them long time ago. Gaia explained every task for me very clearfully and always gave me feedback about my finished tasks. We could talked openly about the day off and Gaia was flexible with it. If I needed something he always tried to find the best solution. Overall, there was a very good cooperation between us during my staying.

The lodge is a hidden gem !! Gaia is a really kind and calm person who explains every task and makes sure you understand. He always check with you that you are comfortable doing the work and he cares about your well being. The tasks were quite diversified, like feeding the chicken, watering the plants, painting, trimming bushes, sand a wooden floor, cleaning the pool, etc… Overall, this place is very peaceful and really made me connect with nature. I could not be happier about my first experience of Worldpackers !

I couldn't be more grateful that the lodge peretti is my first worldpackers experience! Throughout this experience, I've really felt connected and grounded with myself in such a beautiful environment ! Gaia and Marketa are really comprehensive and patient people and they are always there for your needs! Also you can never get bored with their kid Adam and Elena! I would a 100% recommend this place. The tasks were diversified and well explained. For example, during my stay we were building the treehouse, so a lot of painting, sanding and woodwork.

This was my first volunteering experience and it couldn't be better. All the tasks were very well explained and Gaia had a lot of patience for us during the learning process. It was the perfect opportunity to ground myself and immerse into nature. The family was very welcoming and always made sure we were ok. A very fun and enriching experience that I feel honoured to have experienced.

Had a wonderful time with Gaia and family. The work was super diverse and interesting, Gaia was very patient and thorough explaining the tasks which was really appreciated. We had fun involving the kids with the work and exploring the local area with the family and by ourselves.

Had the amazing opportunity to spend a month at this beautiful and remote placement where the hosts are incredibly welcoming. My girlfriend and I stayed in the dome at the lodge where our tasks were mostly gardening and woodworking. (currently building a treehouse) It was a ton of fun! I, didn't have any experience in gardening and anything related to carpentry. Gaia was super patient in explaining everything clearly and showing us how to safely use the tools and materials. He's incredibly kind, very understanding and flexible. Would definitely recommend this to everyone 10/10 thanks so much! <3
