Gaia is an incredibly respectful and accommodating host! He is very easy to communicate with, very fair and willing to compromise. He is also an excellent cook (ask him about the chickpeas…) As a young woman I felt completely safe the whole time, and I got to have some truly incredible experiences. Thank you so much, Gaia. I had the most lovely time on your property. Give Dori and Shanti (dog and cat) hugs for me!

Volunteering at the lodge was such a beautiful and unforgettable experience. The peaceful surroundings and the connection with nature make it the perfect place to be. Gaia is an incredibly kind and welcoming host who makes you feel at home right away and Dori and Shanti, the sweetest dog and cat add even more warmth to the place. I'm so grateful for the time I spent there. A piece of my heart will always stay at the lodge, it's a truly special place I'll never forget.

Definitely one of the best experiences of my life! The place is magical, with a lot of nature and a unique energy. All done with great care and affection by the host Gaia, which makes it even more special. I recommend it to everyone!

I had the most amazing time here. Gaia was the most amazing host, he was so respectful of working hours, took us for pizza, ice cream and to the lake, he was always clear about what was expected of us and was also a lovely person to talk to. Dori and Chante are also the cutest pets ever. I highly recommend this experience for anyone looking for a place to disconnect and relax and it will always hold a special place in my heart :)

My stay at the lodge was so wonderful and peaceful! Gaia and his family are kind and welcoming, and he would take us to local spots in the surrounding area some afternoons. The work is not difficult and the hours are respected. It is a bit far from the surrounding towns but they are easily accessible if you like to walk, which we did a couple of times:) It is a great opportunity to slow down, enjoy the beautiful surroundings, and meet some wonderful people. Thank you Gaia and Marketa for a great first volunteer experience!!

I had an amazing time volunteering at the lodge! Gaia is absolutely great, generous, and incredibly thoughtful. His family is lovely too, and made me feel so welcome. Gaia took us on local trips to the lake and to the best gelato spot. He respected the working hours and gave us a nice variety of tasks, which kept things interesting and enjoyable. The only small downside is the location, public transport isn't the easiest, and buses can be a bit tricky. But if you're into nature, peaceful walks, and stunning Tuscan views, you'll love it here. Highly recommend!

This place is incredible, surrounded by nature. Every day feels different if you know how to make the most of it and live life to the fullest. I felt like it was my real home. ... My experience was very pleasant. I met and made many friends. Gaia's family is very kind and friendly. I loved their pets, which are very cute. I would definitely return to this place. Thank you!

I had an absolutely beautiful experience at the lodge! Gaia and Marketa have a beautiful and peaceful home and family that they welcome volunteers into! I had the opportunity to meet some lovely girls from all around the world who made the experience fun and social! The tasks everyday were well explained and time commitment was always respected. the lodge will always hold a special place in my memories and I hope to return at some point as it was effortless to relax and find presence and happiness everyday!

The place is amazing, I connected with people from all the world every week, I learned many interesting things, I was full by the Italian culture during my stay there. the work schedule is respected during the week and I loved that I had the opportunity to go to the beach, visit nearby towns, eat a lot of pizza and the castles around. It's a quiet place perfect for connecting with you and new people. gaia's kids are a lot of fun. really appreciated being here 🫶🏻

I really enjoyed my time on this volunteering project. The place was peaceful and relaxing, and the work hours matched what was listed online. I met some lovely people and had a great overall experience. I did some painting and gardening but there was definitely more cleaning than I expected. It was still a positive and memorable time.
