I had such a wonderful time at the hostel! The community there was incredible and I always felt safe and supported. I received the opportunity to paint a mural for the hostel which was incredible. Living in Makati Manila for a month was always lively and exciting. I would recommend volunteering here for anyone interested in partying it up in a crazy city.

AMAZING! If you are looking for a place to party, meet other travelers, eat tasty (and cheap) food... this is it! I was at first a little intimidated by Manila, but the area around the hostel and Poblacion is safe and very energetic. We got three meals a day and two free cocktails. Shifts are either helping out at the cafe, going on walking tours, or leading part events like karaoke. The staff and other volunteers made me feel at home and were very understanding when I needed a break from the party life ;) My friends and I also took a few days to go visit islands, and it was definitely worth it.

Before coming to Manila I was very nervous but, the hostel is a wonderfully welcoming place. The staff are all so kind, and always check up on you. 3 meals a day + 2 drinks. The "work" is very easy and fun. The environment here is perfect for party people who are extroverted, high energy, and love to socialize. I wouldn't recommend it if you need lots of personal space, nature, or quiet/introvert time. But if you are the life of the party it is more than perfect. We had time to travel to other islands!! Recs: Japonesa Sushi, LaSema Korean Spa <3. Thank you the hostel for everything xo.

Where do i start, as my first experience in worldpackers i don't think i will ever beat it. The whole team are so welcoming and by the time you leave it feels like a second family. The hours and work are incredibly flexible and social along with all the bonuses on top. I can't sum up my experience in one short paragraph but i can assure you i will be back. I 100% recommend to anyone, you won't regret it! Thanks for an amazing month, especially Gwen Love you all

I had the most wonderful experience at the hostel!! It was the perfect place to start volunteering with Worldpackers and now I can't wait to do more volunteer experiences because of it. The staff are so kind and funny- shoutout to Gwen❤️ They taught me so much about Filipino culture and I also learned a lot of Tagalog. It was also an amazing way to meet wonderful travelers from all over the world. By the end of my stay the staff and other volunteers at the hostel felt like family and I was so sad to leave them. I can't wait to go back and visit and I 100% recommend the hostel for other volunteers!!

One of the best volunteer experiences I've had! Everything was excellent: the communication was great, the food was delicious and varied, the accommodation was wonderful, and the tasks were easy and fun. The staff at the hostel is very friendly and considerate—definitely five stars. If I return to Manila, I will definitely come back!

I stayed for 1 month in the hostel , and it was the most fun and amazing experience i ever had , manila is a beautiful city and the location of the hostel is amazing. the staff and the other volunteers are so so kind , i didn't imagine having deep connections with peoples that fast . the hostel offers you free accommodation and 3 meals a day and 2 cocktail evey night , i mean wow . i think the hostel is the most social in manila, everyone is sl friendly and i miss it already. thank you gwen for this amazing experience 💖 shibli , Israel.

The best volunteering experience I've had! the hostel feels like a home in another country, I'm absolutely grateful to the staff for their kindness, understanding, and support. The work is easy and doesn't feel like a job, it's basically about socializing with guests and helping out with some events and simple tasks. The accommodation is good and clean, and they provide three meals per day, the breakfast is the best! Thank you so much, the hostel! I'm going to miss the friends I made and the staff!
