Description

There’s really not much to do in the house, most of the time you will be enjoying yourself. As we provide food, shelter and some extras for you, the money helps with all of the household expenses :) My kids are only here every other week.

The Experience

Hi! We are a family of four, and we live in one of Valencia's best areas! During your stay we will make you feel at home and exchange many values and thoughts. You will need to help my 3 kids (16, 14, 13) with chores and cooking depending on the day. Your help around the home is required such as doing laundry, cleaning and taking care of the cats. You will still have a lot of free time though! We hope you can apply!

I am super grateful for this experience 🥰València is an absolutely beautiful city and such fun, especially during Fallas!! Isabel is a very friendly and warm person and the kids felt like siblings in the end <3 I picked up a lot of Spanish and really learned something for life! Sara, the oldest is super inspiring and interested in new cultures, Sol a real angel with a mischievous sprinkle and Alberto curious and intelligent. Only thing: I do not recommend it if you struggle to be alone for an entire day/up to three days since Isabel works a lot when the kids aren't home.

Staying with isabel and her kids was an absolutely amazing experience!! i am so grateful to them for welcoming me into their the home making me feel like a part of the family right away. it was truly the best host family type experience i've ever had. i ate and hung out with isabel and the kids every day, and they even brought me with them to family gatherings. i spoke english with the kids most of the time, but i almost always spoke spanish with isabel and she was very eager to help me practice. by the end of my the home i felt super confident speaking spanish around the community.
