I spent a wonderful week with Nicholas and his family in Pap Onditi. They are all so kind, generous and welcoming. Nicholas is planning and building a wonderful little farm and I hope to return in the future and see how the garden looks when trees are planted in the holes we dug out.

Nicholas, Mercy, Manu and Karl were very warm and welcoming and I truly felt part of the family! Work was primarily in the mornings, leaving plenty of free time to do your own thing. Tasks focused on farm work rather than community involvement, as the community description might suggest. I spent my time weeding, planting sunflowers and pumpkins, and extending the pigsty, which was my favourite task! If you enjoy hands-on farm projects in a family setting, this is a great option, though those seeking broader community interaction might want to take this family-focus into consideration.
