The Experience

With over 2.500 plants and the nearby fields where we cultivate our vegetables, our farm where we take care of our animals etc., there is plenty of work Especially in the summer time… Planting, watering, harvesting, as well as having fun, laughing and eating juicy fruits from the tree, all of it takes time and people! Soo basically we need hands all over the Land. With a variety of tasks like gardening, animal care, constructing, and cleaning.

Aeifaron is, above all, a big, close-knit family. As a volunteer, the more openness and willingness you have to immerse yourself in the the community's way of life, the more meaningful your experience will be. Everyone is kind and welcoming, and connecting with people there was such a gift. For me, it intensified a profound process of learning, self-reflection, and growth. The work is enjoyable, especially if you don't mind getting your hands dirty and spending time in nature. I gained far more from this experience than I ever imagined and I wholeheartedly recommend it to other open-minded souls.

My experience in the the community has been very beautiful and intense; I am grateful for everything. I have met so many wonderful people who have given me a full understanding of the spirit of the community. The place is beautiful, unspoiled and set in a landscape characteristic of the place: the hinterland of the Peloponnese. The work fully respects the hours indicated and for me it was light and very nice because I love working in close contact with nature.

Thank you, Vittorio, for your beautiful words. It was such a pleasure having you with us in the community. You fit in so naturally — open, kind, and grounded in a way that harmonized beautifully with the spirit of the place.

You were a great help in the work and connected easily with everyone here. We really appreciated your calm energy and your sincere interest in the way we live and work together.

You’ll always be welcome back

It was amazing experience I I can't even put into words how much but I can say that if you get into the eco village, you needed it - at the right time, the right place. Magic place full of love, amazing people, special energy. I learned a lot about actual life and I am grateful with all my heart and send them my love. About accommodation - I had comfortable clean bed in a room with another volunteers (usually up to 5 but it can accommodate 10), compost toilet outside and shower with a nice water also outside. VERY good food twice a day but you can save for a third time if you need. I love this place❤

The eco village is such a special place! I really enjoyed my time there and I learnt a lot. The most important thing you need to know if you're thinking of volunteering here is the spiritual work they do. Besides that, the work hours were respected and they have different teams you can join. I think the attention they pay to volunteers could improve, because I felt a bit on my own the whole time. It's hard to visit places staying here since there's no bus stop or anything nearby. The facilities and the people were truly nice.
