What you offer

The Experience
We are currently seeking volunteers to assist with cleaning and maintaining the hostel, helping with accommodations, and handling the bar. In exchange for your hard work and dedication, we offer full accommodation and two meals daily during your stay with us. Whether you're a seasoned traveler or just starting out on your journey, we welcome anyone who shares our passion for adventure and cultural exchange! :)

It was great volunteering at the hostel. The location is great. It's close to everything. The work hours are as described and scheduling is flexible as well. The work itself is pretty much just working reception. Some shifts include changing the beds and cleaning the rooms. Dimitar is great, takes good care of you. Is always around too if there's problems at the hostel or any other kind of help. The breakfast and barbecues are great, made by the best chef in Bulgaria. Sometimes it gets a little confusing and disorganized but I would definitely recommend volunteering there.

Dimitar was really great, but many staff members (all of which were male) felt unwelcoming, at times rude and even unsafe. I do believe the one who made it unsafe won't be there anymore. Dimitar seems very willing to make changes, so maybe it's different now, and we did make some good memories with other volunteers and guests. Plovdiv is a great city. The workload was very low and flexible, so you have a lot of time to do your own things. The hostel just felt a bit rough to live in for a longer time.
