I had my first experience volunteering at Finca Guanani, working with the animals and gardening. My overall experience was very good and I would recommend it to anyone considering it. The experience was off to a rocky start as the address on WP was not correct which led me on an 8 hour detour. This was a simple mistake and I think it has been fixed but I definitely recommend giving them a call and making sure before you go. Dario and Sandra and their employees were very nice and welcoming and we got along very well. I greatly improved my Spanish here.

La tierra prometida ❤️ La pasé muy bien, me sentí cómoda, las instalaciones son espectaculares, hay muchos espacios para la recreación personal. La señora Sandra y Don Darío son personas muy amables y respetuosas. Son muy buenos líderes. Me hicieron sentir a gusto.

Experiencia genial! Aprendí mucho. Trabajaba en la huerta, cuidaba de los perros y pollos, y limpiaba. Merece notar que los anfitriones no están en la finca todo el tiempo. Después de la primera noche, estaba allí sola por casi una semana con una otra empleada. Aunque no era lo que esperaba al principio, terminó siendo muy tranquilo para mí. Trae bloqueador y repelente. La comida siempre muy buena y me enseñaron a hacer arepas. Guanani tiene un ambiente lindo y agradezco mucho la oportunidad de conocer a los anfitriones y los otros voluntarios, y espero regresar algún día.

La experiencia en guanani fue verdaderamente hermosa, el lugar es precioso con unas vistas increíbles, rodeados de naturaleza. Los anfitriones son muy amables y nos brindaron muchas experiencias, conocí personas y lugares maravillosas. Lo único que me gustaría resaltar es que es un poco lejos del pueblo, sin embargo el señor José es un taxista que los puede llevar hasta la finca con una tarifa preferencial, dejo su número por si llegan a necesitarlo 3228793201. Linda experiencia!
