The Experience

We need a reliable person for cleaning & reception. We work with cloudbeds so any experience would help: Assisting guests for check-in, check-out and other information they might need,Issuing room codes for guests. Cleaning rooms, change beds, maintain the space clean in general is a must We highly appreciate the communication and coming with new ideas for the space. 4h/day,20 h per week with 3 shifts:morning, noon or evening until 10 pm

I've been in the hostel for 1 month, working mainly in housekeeping, cleaning and reception. It was a great opportunity to get to know Brasov being located in the heart of the town. This experience is good if you have experience with housekeeping and cleaning of a hostel. The hosts are usually not at the place so you will basically have the place for yourself, however, they're always attentive to the details we give them that needs to be done. It's a great experience overall to get to meet new people and the hosts are really nice! (As long as you come here to do the work)

Volunteering at the hostel was an incredibly fulfilling experience. The positive atmosphere and dedicated team made my time there truly enjoyable. I appreciated the meaningful impact we had on travellers coming through lives and the sense of community fostered within the hostel. Overall, it was a great opportunity to contribute to a worthy cause and I will definitely be back one day, sad to say goodbye

Brașov is definitely a city to visit and of course all the amazing places nearby. The hostel is really well located in the old town. The work would be cleaning like make some beds, vacuum but nothing complicated. Also you may need to help at the reception where you can meet a lot of travalers. There's not a lot of spaces to share with other guest or volunteers but Raul would try his best to have some fun. He has an incredible energy and that makes a good atmosphere in the hostel.

This hostel is really well located in the old town of Braşov. There is a kitchen that volunteers can use to prepare meals and sometimes there is breakfast included. Raul is a great person, if you are lucky to meet him enjoy good moments and local culture. Also the other volunteers were really nice. The hours of work and free days were respected. I recommend this place for new volunteers.
