My experience was incredible!!! The work was intense but very rewarding, and the atmosphere made everything enjoyable. Alberto is super friendly, always supportive and he truly makes you feel at home. He often took us out for drinks and helped with anything we needed. The food was a highlight! Every dinner was a delicious dish made by an Italian chef and the breakfast always had a great variety. We had two days off each week, which allowed us to explore other cities and enjoy the area. It was a great cultural exchange and I felt really welcomed. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Overall I'm very happy with this experience. It's definitely more serious work compared to my previous volunteer jobs. The work is pretty well structured and easy to do, especially with previous experience within restaurant. However it's included more “dirty” tasks such as cleaning the trash area. The hosts, staff and other volunteer are all very sweet and friendly! Alberto took well care of us volunteers as he cooked dinner and took us out to the city, which I truly appreciated. The area itself doesn't have much to offer but Milan is a good location for day trips. Thank you for having me!

The experience was great. Alberto is a good person along with the other members of the staff. The gardening work was a therapy to me, it was really good to have the opportunity of using different machinery and also to do some restaurant work. Random working hours. Great food, I totally recommend it. Thank you.

A truly great experience to learn about the culture. The host is very kind and always available to help us. I helped with various tasks, mainly gardening and general maintenance. It was an enriching experience where I shared with people from different cultures and developed practical skills in a collaborative environment. Thank you, the hotel Milano.

Volunteering at the hotel has been a rewarding experience. Alberto welcomed us with genuine kindness, making us feel at home from day one. The work is serious—sometimes intense—but well-organized and fulfilling. The location is ideal to explore Milan and nearby towns, and we got to make amazing friends from all over. Grateful for the memories, the learning, and the laughs along the way!

I had an amazing time in this volunteer!!! The hotel is really peaceful, with a lot of nature around. You can easily go to Milan during the week and also explore other cities in your days off. Alberto is the most generous host ever, so funny and often taking us out to drink. I'm gonna miss this place a lot and also the other volunteers that I became close friends with!!

This was my first volunteering experience, and overall, it was a good one. The work for men is more physically demanding, so if you're not used to it (like I wasn't), it can be tough at first. But I was informed about this beforehand, so I can't really complain. Alberto, the host, is a great guy. He is fun, funny, and always makes sure we are having a good time. He often takes us out to do something after work. The other volunteers were really nice and welcoming too, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I'm thankful for all the moments and lessons along the way.

I absolutely loved everything about this volunteer. The people I met, the host, the work environment, the places you can get to know during the volunteer. Alberto is someone who is committed to what he does and will always be happy to help you in every step of the way. You can find a family in this place and I will forever be grateful for it. Thank you Albi for this experience 🩷

Besides getting to work with other amazing volunteers from different parts of the world, unfortunately I felt that this project it not a volunteering work where you go to help the host and learn something from it. This project is a normal job where you are pressured to work hard on the Hotel kitchen as and waitress/cleaner, don't get paid for it and can't make any complain to the host, otherwise they ask you to leave (that is what happened to me). Also, the facilities aren't all available as promised in the ad, like laundry for free, so I ended up spending more money that I've planed.

I came to this experience not knowing what to expect and was completely positively surprised by how nice it was. I worked in the breakfast doing everything related to this and more depending on the day. In some day there will be a lot of work but it is all manageable as the staff is supportive and the boss incentivizes the team. You do your work well and you'll find a friend in Alberto as he is VERY generous to his volunteers. He understands the true purpose of worldpackers and he likes to make sure his volunteers are having fun and feeling well during their staying in the hotel. Grazie Capo🫡
