Eco Permaculture Nature farm adventure in South of France

The Halliwells were amazing hosts. All very welcoming, understanding and kind. The daily tasks were all easily completed and nothing too strenuous especially in the heat of the week. Working hours were great and you have enough time to complete tasks and then go explore surrounding villages. The food was all really good and it was nice to spend time with the family. Just be warned that a games of cards against Frankie after dinner could have you losing all dignity 😅.

Hi Tyla, Frankie thinks we should frame your drawing and put it on the wall! I shall treasure it for sure!

Rachel, Philip and their family were really welcoming and generous in opening their home so thoroughly to us volunteers. The tent was comfortable and the pool was brilliant on a hot day. The hours were respected, not hard and gave good amounts of time to explore the beautiful towns and locations in the area. I loved my stay so much and would definitely recommend this experience.

This was my first experience with worldpackers, and I couldn't of asked for a nicer family. Rachel was so caring and made sure I was comfortable the entire time, and Phillip made me genuinely interested in the progress of their garden. The task were relatively easy and explain in detail so there was no confusion, and the hours were pretty fair. I usually finished around 2:30pm and was still able to go out and see the surrounding towns in the afternoon. I would recommend them so much to anyone trying to see the beautiful and quite side of France. 😍😊

I spent a week here and I wish I stayed longer. Rachel picked us up and showed us around their farm. Our glamping tent was a cozy&great accommodation. They explained all our tasks and appreciated our work, we made a difference. We got breaks in between the work and all our meals were very good with large portions. In our free time we borrowed their bikes and went to close towns and relaxed in their pool, or played card games with their daughter. The morning work hours are in the sun so definitely bring hats and long clothing to protect your skin. A nice calm area close to great attractions!

I only got to spend a short time on the farm, but it was a great experience! The location is great, perfect for trips to nearby towns after work time or on off days. The pool is also an added bonus. The tent is super cozy and the beds were great to sleep in. They had a lot going on but still had time to teach us important things about the garden and I really learned a lot. I would have loved to stay longer! I definitely recommend :)

The experience was enriching. I learned quite a bit about gardening and can definitely see myself using these skills in the future. I was also encouraged to do activities after work and I was given great recommendations on what those activities could be which was very helpful as I didn't know much about the area surrounding the farm before arrival. Instructions on working hours were given clearly before hand and any questions I had were received positively.

As this was my first worldpackers experience, I was a bit nervous at first but the family made me feel welcome. The place is really nice and the work very manageable. I learned quite a lot about gardening and got to explore the nearby area in the afternoons. Would recommend!

Phillip, Rachel and their family were so welcoming and friendly, this was my first world packer experience and had no idea what to expect but I had a great time, learnt loads about permaculture, ate lovely home cooked meals, explored the gorgeous surrounding area and enjoyed being able to help on the farm. Couldn't recommended this experience enough! :)
