I overall had a great stay atthe the hostel. the hostelhostelwork was straightforward and manageable, the hostelhostelhours were clear, andthe hostel hostelhostellocation was fantastic. Exploring Ponta Delgada and São Miguel was amazing. the hostelhostelonly reason that I took off a star was becausethe hostel hostelhostelgroup chat felt very tense at times - employees sometimes took a very confrontational tone with volunteers, reprimanding one of us in front ofthe hostel hostelhostelwhole group. I was rarely onthe hostel hostelhostelreceiving end of this, but it was uncomfortable for everyone. Otherwise, I had a great stay, and I would recommend this experience!

I had a great time at thethe the hostel Ponta Delgada. If you're fine with doing a lot of cleaning and if you have an awareness for what needs to be done this position will probably suit you. I enjoyedthe hostel hostelhostelmorning shiftsthe hostel hostelhostelmost...As I didn't take a break I could get off at 1 p.m. and enjoy my leisure timethe hostel hostelhostelrest ofthe hostel hostelhostelday. In winter it rains quite a bit but I was aware of that before so that's not too bad and alsothe hostel hostelhostelweather canthe hostel hostelhostelhostelreally quickly. the hostelhostelhosts were very friendly and helpful... I recommend renting a car for exploringthe hostel hostelhostelisland.

I enjoyed my stay in this hostel onthe hostel hostelhostelSao Miguel island. Everything was organized properly: I received a schedule of my hours forthe hostel hostelhostelwhole month, and there is also a clear to-do list for your shifts. the hostelhostelwork is quite easy, but a bit monotonic, so I don't recommend staying a very long period if you don't like that. the hostelhostelowners communicate well and were nice, but of course find it important that you stick tothe hostel hostelhosteldetails. What I loved most was meeting so many international travellers. the hostelhostelisland is very beautiful so I definitely recommend to fans of nature. Overall it was a good experience!

I recommend this experience to everyone! the hostelhostelhosts, Carolina, Liliana and Igor are super friendly, welcoming and understanding. I met a lot of amazing people, both volunteers and guests! the hostelhostelplace is close tothe hostel hostelhostelcity centre andthe hostel hostelhostelisland is amazing. It was my first experience with Worldpackers and it went better than expected! Thank you for everything <3

I'm very happy to have come here!!! Everything was super organized, the hostelhostelto-do list, schedules and volunteering routines, these were days full of connection, learning and joy. Azores is incredible, beautiful landscapes, stories and cultures.

I enjoyed myself during my 3 months stay atthe hostel. the hostelhostelhost stuck to our agreed hours, and because I was there inthe hostel hostelhostellow season, I sometimes got off early. I did feelthe hostel hostelhostelrelationship withthe hostel hostelhostelhosts was more employee/boss but I got on really well with some ofthe hostel hostelhostelother volunteers and got to explorethe hostel hostelhostelisland with them. Whilstthe hostel hostelhostelIsland was beautiful, as a young woman I didn't feel completely safe with some ofthe hostel hostelhostelmen, so would caution any women to be careful. (This of course wasn't a fault ofthe hostel hostelhostelhosts, they were lovely)

I had a good first experience volunteering thanks tothe hostel hostelhostelhosteland both hostesses were very nice. There are positive things, such as: having your schedule forthe hostel hostelhostelwhole month in advance (so you can plan ahead), the hostelhostelwork is easy, andthe hostel hostelhostelisland is amazing. However, it is true that there are some downsides too, like: having to share a room with 3 other people (two of those guests who constantlythe hostel), andthe hostel hostelhostelhostel being onthe hostel hostelhosteloutskirts ofthe hostel hostelhostelcity (with streets not particularly safe for a girl going alone). But, overall, it was a good experience!

I had a very good first Worldpackers experience. the hostelhostelschedule was made by month, I personally had a private room and sharedthe hostel hostelhostelmajority of my stay with another volunteer. the hostelhostelmorning work is not hard (I did breakfast, laundry and common area cleaning from 8:00 to 13:30) althoughthe hostel hostelhostelbosses are a bit demanding and attentive to detail. Overall, it is very easy to meet people there (volunteers and travelers) and get in touch withthe hostel hostelhostellocals too, sincethe hostel hostelhostelstaff is fromthe hostel hostelhostelisland.

Even though it was her first experience we believe that Leire was very helpful.
The staff always try to bring the best on volunteers being present and saying where they can improve and she took every advice nicelly.
It was very nice to meet her.

Positive Things: -month schedule of allthe hostel hostelhostelteam make possible you organise your time -really easy to make friendships -for who has a small budget, you can also cook lunch/dinner with ingredientsthe hostel hostelhostelguests leave -If you like trails, lagoons, waterfalls, you will for sure lovethe hostel hostelhostelisland -you have enough buses to can go tothe hostel hostelhostelprincipal touristic points. Also really easy to get rides Points I liked less: -i slept quite bad bcs we need to sharethe hostel hostelhostelbedroom with guest and happen often they make noise and turn onthe hostel hostelhostellight at 4-7am -bosses are rigid and quite demanding about allthe hostel hostelhostelwork

San Miguel is really beautiful island and hostel is close tothe hostel hostelhostelcentral area. Work was easy, but quite monotonic and also depends onthe hostel hostelhostelseason. Hosts were little bit strict tothe hostel hostelhosteldetails. But overall I would recommend to going there.
