A minha experiência foi fantástica! As anfitriãs são muito gentis, abertas ao diálogo e divertidas o que torna o dia a dia muito leve e prazeroso. Eu tive um turno de trabalho equilibrado onde as tarefas foram bem definidas e distribuídas ao longo da semana. A ilha é simplesmente maravilhosa, no entanto o transporte público fica a desejar o que praticamente nos obriga a alugar um carro ou fechar pacotes com agências para conhecer lugares mais distantes. Apesar disso, super recomendado a experiência!

O voluntariado no hostel é maravilhoso. Foi minha primeira experiência e não poderia ter sido melhor!! A Liliana e a Carol são pessoas maravilhosas. O trabalho é ótimo e bem tranquilo. Elas fazem um horário mensal, oque ajuda bastante a gente se programar para conhecer a ilha ilha. Foi uma experiência única e incrível.

Essa foi minha primeira experiência como voluntária e foi simplesmente perfeita. O pessoal aqui é muito acolhedor, Carolina e Liliana são simplesmente maravilhosas, super acessíveis, prestativas e flexíveis. Inclusive quero fazer um agradecimento especial, porque graças a abertura e disposição delas, fiz minha primeira palestra Internacional. Os dias aqui foram maravilhosos, assim como as pessoas! Me senti em casa e super acolhida. Recomendo aos próximos voluntários escolherem um logno período, não cometam o mesmo erro que eu, o tempo passa muito rápido e nem dá vontade de ir embora. Voltarei

I enjoyed my stay in this hostel onthe hostel hostelhostelSao Miguel island. Everything was organized properly: I received a schedule of my hours forthe hostel hostelhostelwhole month, and there is also a clear to-do list for your shifts. the hostelhostelwork is quite easy, but a bit monotonic, so I don't recommend staying a very long period if you don't like that. the hostelhostelowners communicate well and were nice, but of course find it important that you stick tothe hostel hostelhosteldetails. What I loved most was meeting so many international travellers. the hostelhostelisland is very beautiful so I definitely recommend to fans of nature. Overall it was a good experience!

I recommend this experience to everyone! the hostelhostelhosts, Carolina, Liliana and Igor are super friendly, welcoming and understanding. I met a lot of amazing people, both volunteers and guests! the hostelhostelplace is close tothe hostel hostelhostelcity centre andthe hostel hostelhostelisland is amazing. It was my first experience with Worldpackers and it went better than expected! Thank you for everything <3

I'm very happy to have come here!!! Everything was super organized, the hostelhostelto-do list, schedules and volunteering routines, these were days full of connection, learning and joy. Azores is incredible, beautiful landscapes, stories and cultures.

I enjoyed myself during my 3 months stay atthe hostel. the hostelhostelhost stuck to our agreed hours, and because I was there inthe hostel hostelhostellow season, I sometimes got off early. I did feelthe hostel hostelhostelrelationship withthe hostel hostelhostelhosts was more employee/boss but I got on really well with some ofthe hostel hostelhostelother volunteers and got to explorethe hostel hostelhostelisland with them. Whilstthe hostel hostelhostelIsland was beautiful, as a young woman I didn't feel completely safe with some ofthe hostel hostelhostelmen, so would caution any women to be careful. (This of course wasn't a fault ofthe hostel hostelhostelhosts, they were lovely)

A Ilha de São Miguel é linda e você consegue conhecer alguns lugares e cidades com o transporte público. As atividades no hostel são faceis como limpeza e preparar o café da manhã, mas você precisa ficar bem atenta com as específicas regras exigidas de lá. Oso hostel tem uma cultura um pouco diferente do restante do continente, com pessoas fechadas, desconfiadas e uma difícil comunicação, e eu tive que antecipar a minha saída pois não me adaptei muito bem no ambiente. Consegui fazer amizade com a outra voluntária o que foi ótimo porque aproveitamos um pouco da cidade de Ponta Delgada juntas.

Lamento que tenhas achado os habitantes dos Açores "fechados", ou que estivesses à espera de algum outro tipo de experiência.
Vieste em época baixa e, por isso, o movimento por aqui foi bem mais calmo e menos "animado" do que estavas à espera.
Da parte da equipa, não te achamos uma pessoa propriamente fácil de lidar, pois estavas sempre de "cara fechada", o que também complica a aproximação de outros, embora tivéssemos tentado.
A nível de pessoa, achei-a exigente, desconfiada e um quanto "conflituosa". Muita coisa poderia ter sido comunicada com mais calma e atenção.
Apesar de tudo, achamos que és empenhada na limpeza e fazias bem o teu trabalho.
Somos gratos pela ajuda que nos deste no tempo que estiveste por cá.

I had a good first experience volunteering thanks tothe hostel hostelhostelhosteland both hostesses were very nice. There are positive things, such as: having your schedule forthe hostel hostelhostelwhole month in advance (so you can plan ahead), the hostelhostelwork is easy, andthe hostel hostelhostelisland is amazing. However, it is true that there are some downsides too, like: having to share a room with 3 other people (two of those guests who constantlythe hostel), andthe hostel hostelhostelhostel being onthe hostel hostelhosteloutskirts ofthe hostel hostelhostelcity (with streets not particularly safe for a girl going alone). But, overall, it was a good experience!

I had a very good first Worldpackers experience. the hostelhostelschedule was made by month, I personally had a private room and sharedthe hostel hostelhostelmajority of my stay with another volunteer. the hostelhostelmorning work is not hard (I did breakfast, laundry and common area cleaning from 8:00 to 13:30) althoughthe hostel hostelhostelbosses are a bit demanding and attentive to detail. Overall, it is very easy to meet people there (volunteers and travelers) and get in touch withthe hostel hostelhostellocals too, sincethe hostel hostelhostelstaff is fromthe hostel hostelhostelisland.

Even though it was her first experience we believe that Leire was very helpful.
The staff always try to bring the best on volunteers being present and saying where they can improve and she took every advice nicelly.
It was very nice to meet her.
