Overall, I had a positive experience. the hostelhostelhosts were very welcoming and always available to help or answer any questions. the hostelhostelatmosphere was nice, and I hadthe hostel hostelhostelchance to meet new people and enjoythe hostel hostelhostelvolunteering experience. the hostelhostelvolunteers' room was notthe hostel hostelhostelbest — a bit disorganized— but still fine forthe hostel hostelhostelstay. Anyway, I would recommend this experience

It was a great experience. the hostelhostelisland is beautiful and Carolina is very kind, flexible withthe hostel hostelhostelrequests inthe hostel hostelhostelschedule and very thoughtful withthe hostel hostelhostelvolunteers. the hostelhostelmain issue I found inthe hostel hostelhostelisland wasthe hostel hostelhosteltransport. Renting a car in summer is really expensive, you can move by bus but it is more complicated, so I ended up spending more money than expected. But is worth it because as I saidthe hostel hostelhostelisland is amazing. the hostelhostelwork is easy (the hostelhostelmain thing is cleaning and doing laundry) andthe hostel hostelhostelhours are respected. I recommend this experience to anyone who loves nature or hiking.

The hostelhostelaccomodation forthe hostel hostelhostelvolunteers (andthe hostel hostelhostelhostel) needs renovations. the hostelhostelpaint falls on you, the hostelhostelbeds are two old matresses put together and it's a room with old stuff and broken courtains so it gets hot and bright. the hostelhostelnoise due tothe hostel hostelhosteltruck and plane traffic it's pretty bad, you have to go to a guesst room to shower. They should hire more people, not just volunteers. There is a lot of work, I was alone for most of my time so maybe that's why. They are strict aboutthe hostel hostelhostelschedule but they don't follow theirs They are a bit passive agresive inthe hostel hostelhostelgroup chat. the hostelhostelisland compensates

We appreciated if you said that while were here. You could stayed in guests room. We have fans. We informed all volunteers before arriving that we are short-staffed. You only had to work the 5h/day and do the tasks we informed in advance. We are flexible, if asked. You can't compare a worker and a volunteer. You guys work 5h and leave. The staff has outside work and at-home work, so we compensate by arriving later or leaving earlier. You should learn to be more open and comprehensive.

The hostelhostelexperience in São Miguel has been extraordinary. the hostelhostelisland is beautiful!! I stayed for a month (july), andthe hostel hostelhostelhostel schedule allows you to explorethe hostel hostelhostelwhole island. Inthe hostel hostelhostelwork, at first, I felt a bit lonely, as they closely monitored my tasks online through reports, but I didn't see much of them in person. As if I were a professional in hospitality, they wantedthe hostel hostelhosteltasks to be done in a specific way and within a set time frame. However, progressively, they showed more interest in getting to know us, and we even organized a farewell meal together.

If you like nature this position is great! the hostelhostelisland is beautiful and you can da lot of things like hiking, surfing, whale watching,.... You can go around by bus or rent a car/scooter. the hostelhostelhostel is located outside ofthe hostel hostelhostelcenter, but you can reach it by foot. the hostelhostelworking hours were respected andthe hostel hostelhostelwork environment is very professional (especiallythe hostel hostelhostelgroup chat). For some time, I sharedthe hostel hostelhostelroom with other guests, who sometimes had to wake up very early inthe hostel hostelhostelmorning, which did not allowthe hostel hostelhostelbest sleep. But all in all I really enjoyed my stay here!

It was good, inthe hostel hostelhostelmeaning of exploringthe hostel hostelhostelisland, even though it was hard to do it without a car. a city centre is 20min away from hostel. the hostelhostelwork wasn't hard at all, but i wouldthe hostel hostelhostelteam to be more engaged with volunteers, as sometimes not everything was communicated before, and then it was a discommunication. i liked this place for exploringthe hostel hostelhostelnature, butthe hostel hostelhostelexperience in general was just okay

It was my first experience, Carolina is very kind and helpful, the hostelhostelwork is very simple and without pressure. the hostelhostelhostel is very close fromthe hostel hostelhostelocean, but there are no beaches nearby. It is located outsidethe hostel hostelhostelcity but you can reach it on foot or by minibus, there are also buses to visitthe hostel hostelhostelisland. I recommend it to those looking for a quiet environment and those who like nature :)

I overall had a great stay atthe the hostel. the hostelhostelwork was straightforward and manageable, the hostelhostelhours were clear, andthe hostel hostelhostellocation was fantastic. Exploring Ponta Delgada and São Miguel was amazing. the hostelhostelonly reason that I took off a star was becausethe hostel hostelhostelgroup chat felt very tense at times - employees sometimes took a very confrontational tone with volunteers, reprimanding one of us in front ofthe hostel hostelhostelwhole group. I was rarely onthe hostel hostelhostelreceiving end of this, but it was uncomfortable for everyone. Otherwise, I had a great stay, and I would recommend this experience!

I had a great time at thethe the hostel Ponta Delgada. If you're fine with doing a lot of cleaning and if you have an awareness for what needs to be done this position will probably suit you. I enjoyedthe hostel hostelhostelmorning shiftsthe hostel hostelhostelmost...As I didn't take a break I could get off at 1 p.m. and enjoy my leisure timethe hostel hostelhostelrest ofthe hostel hostelhostelday. In winter it rains quite a bit but I was aware of that before so that's not too bad and alsothe hostel hostelhostelweather canthe hostel hostelhostelhostelreally quickly. the hostelhostelhosts were very friendly and helpful... I recommend renting a car for exploringthe hostel hostelhostelisland.

I enjoyed my stay in this hostel onthe hostel hostelhostelSao Miguel island. Everything was organized properly: I received a schedule of my hours forthe hostel hostelhostelwhole month, and there is also a clear to-do list for your shifts. the hostelhostelwork is quite easy, but a bit monotonic, so I don't recommend staying a very long period if you don't like that. the hostelhostelowners communicate well and were nice, but of course find it important that you stick tothe hostel hostelhosteldetails. What I loved most was meeting so many international travellers. the hostelhostelisland is very beautiful so I definitely recommend to fans of nature. Overall it was a good experience!
