The Experience

My name is Fausto and about 25 years ago I started my camping on a family plot in the southern Piedmont countryside, on the border of the Apennines. From the first pitches we have grown more and more but maintaining the family and spontaneous spirit. I'm looking for help who can take care of cleaning, tidying up and receiving customers for a few hours a day, giving a hand when necessary.

This was my first volunteer experience and I couldn't have asked for a better place to start. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with so much kindness and care! The location is absolutely beautiful, peaceful and surrounded by nature. Fausto is such a funny and lively person who kept the energy light and fun. Federico was always thoughtful, checking in on me making sure I was okay, which meant a lot to me. Camila is truly a sweet soul and also an amazing cook! Thank you all so much for making my volunteering journey so special! 🇮🇹 ❤️ Grazie Mille! 😊

From the first day I arrived, they made me feel at home. Fausto, Camila, and Fede are wonderful people and always make sure you're okay. The hours and conditions are just as they say, and the tasks are very easy to complete. They're flexible with schedules, so there's no problem if you want to make a special plan one day. It's a great place to connect with nature and people. Every volunteer is welcomed with love and affection. Thank you so much for giving me this wonderful time with you. I will miss you. You've become my Italian family. I love you very much, and I'll see you soon.

This is my 13th volunteer and without a doubt, the best one I've ever been to! From day one I felt welcomed by Fede,Camila and Fausto, they've received me with open arms as part of the family. We had amazing moments together, I enjoyed a lot the meals we had, the time in the camping, the pool, the little Italian I could learn, the patience they had teaching me, the vibe in the camping, the nature, everything... Garbagna will be forever in my heart, so is going to be Fede, Fausto and Camila, my family in Italy🇮🇹❤️

It was my first experience as a volunteer and I couldn't have possibly found a better place. The camping itself is a gorgeous spot surrounded by nature, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. And now more about the experience itself - I would recommend it to everyone without hesitation. Thanks to Camilla (who fed me all month, providing me with peanut butter supply and is undoubtedly the best cook in the neighborhood), Fausto ( who made the evenings better with his music) and Federico (whose sense of humour is simply on point so you can never get bored). I will miss them :((

I definitely recommend this volunteer. I could learn so many things during this time like local culture, local food and nature, people, history…( btw you finish your work in morning and got time to explore lovely town Garbagna, chilling at swimming pool and could go to Milano, Turin, outlet) I loved every moment in this camping site, especially with people here is so nice. I could feel this is my second family. Words can't describe how much I appreciate them. Again, thank you guys so much and I would definitely come back here!! Love you Fausto, Camilla, Federico, Rod, Miriam, Karlo!!
