We have been with Nathan and his family for allmost three months and it was an amazing experience, we felt like another member of their family and they made sure we are comfortable. The work and tasks were very well explained and they always made sure we are enyojing it. Sometimes we had to work overtime, but it was always in agreement and when it happend we worked less the other day as compensation. As a bonus we became good friends and spend a lot of our free time together with him and his girlfriend. They showed us a lot of beautiful places, and made sure we are enyoing our time.

I was able to practice French, English and Spanish, worked with wood, learned about cement and gardening, I worked with metal even though it was not my favorite part, it helped me understand a lot about building structures. This experience exceeded my expectations since I also had the chance to participate in the local market selling product to continue financing my trips and had the chance to try new food like Escargot, Steak tartare and delicious pastries. Just consider that the beach is not that close but there is a river, you will work out here if you like to exercise.

I had an incredible experience at this work exchange! I can't say enough about the hosts - they made us feel at home and treated us to the best Belgium waffles. The area where the lodge was located felt safe, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the experience without worries. One of the highlights was the proximity to wildlife and hiking areas, offering a good balance between work and leisure. It was truly a remarkable experience that I will cherish forever!

The guest house was an amazing stay with an amazing family! The apartment we stayed in had a brand new A/C, shower, bathroom, dresser, queen bed, and couch. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could ever need. Every morning we woke up to the best smoothies we've ever had along with authentic Belgian breakfasts. Nathan and his family made us feel right at home with their kindness. We hope to return soon and could not recommend a better opportunity!
