The Experience

We need help preparing meals for our group vacation and retreat guests. We're looking for volunteers who are talented cooks wanting to get experience making veggie/vegan farm-to-table food. Previous experience producing food in a restaurant kitchen or stall would be ideal. Volunteers stay in a purpose-built station, work for 5 hours per day for 6 days, and can use any of the facilities at the property. This is a work exchange!

What a beautiful, inspiring experience! Rob & Rebe have created a lovely, welcoming space that blends work, play, and education seamlessly. There are so many unforgettable experiences and connections made here. I wish I stayed longer than a week. If you can handle a bit of heat, and a few harmless bugs, you'll find yourself wishing you'd never leave. Stunning sunsets, warm waters, home-cooked meals, hands-on learning, beauty beyond the average everywhere you look... The list of pros goes on. Thank you Rob & Rebe!!

The week I spent at the eco village was inspiring, eye opening, and absolutely life changing! We learned so much about sustainable/regenerative practices, and the volunteering aspect of the trip felt super meaningful. We also had some time to explore the Osa Peninsula beyond the Finca (our Corcovado National Park was absolutely incredible!). I love everything about this project, from the sea turtle conservation to Rebe's delicious cooking to the intentional impacts our hosts make— both in the local economy and in travelers hosted from all over the world. I would go back in a heartbeat!

My week at the eco village was nothing short of magnificent. The hosts Rob and Rebe went above and beyond to make the experience personalized, special, and memorable. The property was absolutely stunning, exceptionally well maintained, and I cannot say enough good things about the food Rebe prepared. The education, volunteering, and sustainable efforts demonstrated by everyone at the finca were inspiring. Also, the trip leader, Connie, went above and beyond in her role to make sure everyone was safe and having a wonderful experience. Overall, an unforgettable week with unforgettable people <3.
