I genuinely had the time of my life at the project. The people I met and the experience was amazing. The working hours are nice, and the flexibility in doing the work you want to is great. The days go by so fast and I had so many new experiences in the two weeks I was there. The lonely beach is beautiful and well worth the walk. Christian also provides lifts in his car to the beach and town. It was my first world packers and I felt at home straight away, will definitely be going back.

My experience and eco adventure was amazing! Christian was awesome and we got to explore a lot of the town and surrounding beaches. The other volunteers were also amazing and everyday was something new and fun.

I loved my time here! Christian is so kind about taking you places and the work doesn't even feel like work because you are surrounded by so many awesome people. It was great if you want to meet international travelers. If you thrive in extremely organized settings / have a problem with feeling dirty then I wouldn't recommend this for you, but for me, this was one of the best two weeks of my life and I'm so thankful for my experience here!

Amazing stay. Maybe the best experience I've ever had. Chris is very nice, intelligent, has many stories to tell and happy to take you to many spots in Sicily. The place may seem overwhelming at first for some but each day gets better and better. Learned a lot about myself, nature, work practices and other people. My whole stay was a very social and free vibe. Everyday is always something new or unexpected fun activities. Also the beach is only about an hour or so walk, so very close.

Saw some incredible sights I doubt I would have seen without meeting Christian. met tons of amazing people, other volunteers and locals all with a huge personality. with the work and vegetarian diet it's probably the healthiest I've felt in a while. the beach is only a 45 minute walk if you keep a good pace, and it's absolutely beautiful.

The experience was fantastic, Christian is a super friendly, empathetic, responsible and respectable person. The project is incredible and is constantly growing. I was able to develop and improve my personal and social skills. The team is made up of beings from all over the world, from whom I learned a lot and have beautiful memories. I hope to return in the future. I can only say thank you thank you thank you.

Social projects promote a sense of community.. you need to share and live together and a leader is essential, which is what is missing there, however I enjoyed my time here, but you need an open and mature mind, with the idea that not even the basic needs of a human being are covered, but if your intention is to learn, there is always something to do! Don't expect to do things to get something in return, Christian is a person with very good intentions but difficult to deal with some people, we are all from different cultures, nothing should be taken personally but respect is essential.

We are glad that you had a good time. As you can read in our over 200 reviews (4.9 on average) across multiple platforms, hundreds of families and young people had the time of their lives - *especially thanks to Christian*. After so many extraordinary compliments, he humble asked the helpers to stop highlighting him in the reviews, better to describe the adventure trips and construction projects. Now it is of course good that everyone can read that 97% of the arrivals appreciate his special hospitality, his careful dedication, great experiences and special contacts all around Sicily.
Because this summer Christian had the toughest job ever as team manager:
The most spoiled, unmindful and disrespectful bunch of kids in his 20 years of social work.
*He is easy*, it depends on how you behave towards him and, above all, towards others & yourself. The last 2 month he had to care from early in the morning until late evening that everybody stayed safe!
You probably didn't recognize, nor most of the others, how many times tools (knives, machete, axes...) lied everywhere on the ground. After the people left he found even sleeping bags & matresses in the mud. (We got horrible pics.) Not to talk about the mood of some drug addicted Narcissists! In the future those people have to leave, even better they dont show up. - We will care better, for Christian and the Eco Adventure family.
If you show respect you earn respect.
You are welcome back at the Adventure Hill and our eco friendly tours around the islands & worldwide.
All the best!

The experience at the campament was INCREDIBLE. Sicily has beautiful views and you could discover a new corner full of nature every day. The local people were always very friendly and welcoming. The group of volunteers became a family, many of us didn't really know what to do at first but we all had a very good attitude to help and learn. I just can say thanks to all of them. The only thing I feel was lacking was a more fluid and respectful relationship on Christian's part, since he did not share with us, and communicating with him was difficult.

People who choose to talk destructively about others rather than constructively *with them* will not deserve respect and may even be send away in the future. A view of these can spoil the good mood of a large group. For too long we have had great patience with these weak characters. Unfortunately we cannot help everyone.
If you show respect you can enjoy instead the time of your life!

It has been one of the best experiences of my life. There were people from all over the world. We were like a big family. The stay there was quite an adventure, every day we faced a different adventure. The experience has helped me connect with nature and make personal growth. A negative point was that Christian didn't treat us with the respect that we deserved. He never thanked us and often answered us in bad ways and shouted at us. However, he also has many initiatives and very good projects that are worth it.

Until the last day you said you love it. In the private comment you even write "Christian It was a pleasure to meet you." Unfortunately It wasnt a pleasure for him. Extra for you he walked 8 km, carying your stuff, only that you could enjoy the lonely beach. You did not show any respect at all instead. Thank you for nothing!
We set now the age higher on Worldpackers that spoiled kids like you will not show up again.
