I had an amazing time at the project in the Heart of sicily! Christian the Host is super kind, fair and respectful. He showed and explained so many interesting things about Sicily and the local life. The nature is breathtaking and its an awesome place to explore adventures and take a pause from the fast modern life. Thanks for the amazing time! Grazie a la Sicilia! Greetings Paul

The project is such a special place. I loved my time in Sicily and, even though I only spent one week at the project, I could see its great potential. I would've liked to have more time to hang out with Christian, but I can say that he strives to include everybody and for all to have a good time and experience. Thank you for everything!

Eco-Adventure was my first work exchange and it was a memorable experience. I was lucky to be there with a great group of volunteers who showed me the ropes of camp life. Christian was good about showing us unique local experiences. Before my arrival I was under the impression there would be more opportunity to learn hands-on skills however Christian was quite busy so I recommend this for people who already have aligned experience otherwise it can be difficult to fully contribute. There was a lack of system at camp so most work was planning meals and trying to maintain an organized routine.

I had an amazing time because of the other volunteers, not because of anything else. I arrived in a time of conflict between the host and volunteers. Instead of having mature conversations, Christian would shut down any attempts to have healthy conversation, and assert his power. He raised the prices when we didn't just submit, and he was very firm in that. He also demanded we write down our "diagnosis", insisting that would make communication easier. I had the time of my life meeting volunteers from across the world, but know that you'll enter a power dynamic and you must ignore any issues.

I had a great time at the project! I really got in touch with the locals, met a lot of nice people and gained new experiences. Christiaan did a lot for us: he took us to the beach, arranged for us to go canoeing and took us to local restaurants. I only find it a pity that I could not communicate well with him. He had a lot on his mind which made him abrupt and unclear. He also preferred to do projects by himself. If you gave feedback, you got a mean and angry answer. I know he means well but that was a pity.

This was a great experience to meet people and connect with nature. I loved spending time with all the animals, the cats and the chickens and the mules, etc. it was so lovely. The absolute best part of this experience was meeting our other volunteer friends. I recommend making sure that other people will be there when you visit or there will be much less to do. I also highly recommend communicating very well and setting boundaries with the host and the other volunteers. It could become tense at times, but seeing Sicily and meeting amazing people will make this unforgettable to me.

As soon as you left, the energy improved significantly. Simply because others were able to set and communicate their wishes, needs, and "boundaries" better, more directly, and above all, more *honestly*.
Talking with each other instead of about the others is simply the right way.
May the force be with you! For the future all the best on your way of life & growing.

What a wonderful experience! We had the chance to explore amazing local locations like the restaurant Pane Vino, which hosts live music once a week, and stunning beaches where we could paddleboard. the project is exactly what its name suggests: an adventure. We helped build a "donkey kingdom", we walked a donkey, cooked over a campfire, and slept in tents. I strongly suggest it to everyone searching for a stunning and distinctive experience. I will definitely be coming back at some point.

This experience is truly one of a kind, I will remember it fondly for the rest of my life and I plan to return to the project, as of right now it is like campsite living, tents and campfires and solar energy, very simple but life should be this simple and that was one of the lessons I learnt from the experience, nights under the stars and mornings filled with excitement for what the day had to offer were my favourite moments, the labour itself was very hard but super rewarding, and not everyone does the same tasks if i'm not mistaken.

I had a great time, if you are open for adventure and learning new things about yourself and others this is a great place for you. I had the opportunity to meet inspiring people make many great experiences. The project and its the plans for the future are really amazing and it was great to contribute to that. Definitely planning on coming back someday. :)

Christian took us to the most beautiful and secret spots of the region, he wants to make sure everybody discovers Sicily with him! We had a great group of internationals travelers, the one you never get bored with! Cooking together on the fire and sharing meals was an absolute blast. Personally I've learned a lot about outdoor skills and building in general, I would recommend the project to people who likes nature and social projects!
