Although I only spent a short time in the guest house I was made feel at home right away. Clare, Ben & Alice gave me a warm welcome and made sure that I had everything that I might need - from ski gear to hot water bottles. Ben was very helpful in sharing his ski instructor knowledge and local hiking routes. Helping with the dinner service always went quickly and all the delicious food made by Clare and Alice every day was a real treat! Another highlight was when Clare generously brought us on a day trip to the frozen lake in Weißensee and we got the chance to try out some iceskating.

Claire's picture belongs in the dictionary next to kindness! She is such a lovely and warm person who makes everyone feel welcome and cared for. She even let my sister tag a long unexpectedly. Ben is also a very kind and carring person ready to give you lots of great recommendations! They gave us a once in a life time experience and showed us around this beautiful area. We had so much fun gathering with their friends, going to local parades, and swimming in the rivers and lakes. I am absolutely thrilled and grateful to have met them both and stay at the guest house! This was a dream!Lots of love!

I don't have enough words to write about volunteering. Clare and Ben are incredible, they do everything they can to make us feel good and comfortable, I'm grateful for their patience in communicating, for teaching, for the tips and suggestions of places to visit, thank you Clare for being kind, for caring how we are, you are an admirable woman, a human being who deserves the best in life. Thank you for your trust, for opening the doors of your home, of your business, thank you for everything always. I'll miss everything and the cats too ❤️

It was an amazing experience. From day one, it felt like home because Clare and Ben are so warm, caring, and cheerful hosts. The work was easy and enjoyable and I had plenty of free time to explore. I hiked in the most beautiful places I've ever seen, rode a bike, and swam in the pool. Traditional Austrian events in the surrounding villages made it fascinating to experience the culture. I met wonderful people, including other volunteers, Clare and Ben's friends, and locals. I feel endless gratitude for this unforgettable experience. The month passed quickly, and I want to come back! <3

This was my first worldpackers experience and it was hands down a 10/10. The other reviews are right, Clare is an amazing host! She is caring, patient, kind and we got along so well! I only stayed for 3 weeks but I wish I could've stayed for 3 months. During my free time (which there was lots of) I hung out with Clare, her friends, her cats, other worldpackers, and did lots of outdoors activities (swimming, hiking, biking). Clare helped organize all of this. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, I have no complaints. I felt at home at the guest house, and I hope to be able to visit again!
