It's a peaceful and natural place that immediately makes you feel calm and relaxed. The house is beautifully decorated and full of artistic details, like a living art museum. Karen is a wonderful teacher who has taught me everyday English, painting, and many useful life skills. Her cooking is amazing, and she even took me to visit many beautiful places and cities across Scotland. The work here is light and flexible. I've truly felt the warmth of home here, and this experience has been an unforgettable cross-cultural journey in my life. I deeply appreciate her kindness and patience. 🫶🏻✨

It was an absolute pleasure to spend a month with Karen! Her house is beautiful and it was a special experience for me and my wife. Karen is a great host, she is more than reasonable in terms of working hours and tasks. The time that we spent with her was full of warmth, art, meaningful conversations and delicious food. The area is absolutely amazing in any weather.

Me and my husband stayed with Karen for a month and it was magical. I enjoyed the nature in the area, her house, her company and food. Everything about our experience was great. Karen is very caring and thoughtful, moreover she is an incredible artist that has many knowledge and stories to share. Her house and studio became a real home for me for this months and I'm really grateful to Karen for creating such a safe and beautiful environment.

I loved my time with Karen at the home! She is so kind and welcoming, such a great teacher of all things art and house keeping and gardening, and always encouraging. The work was very doable and you have lots of flexibility. I felt so cared for and will miss my time here tremendously (especially watching Antique Roadshow and Masterchef). I would recommend for anyone looking for a calm and relaxing experience! Thank you Karen!!!
