While I am grateful to have had this opportunity to visit and explore Puebla City, I cannot recommend this experience. First, I signed up to be a cleaner in the hostel. When I arrived, the host told me I'd be doing reception as well, which is not what I agreed to. While the host says she is flexible, she does not manage the volunteer schedules at all. When I wanted to visit Veracruz, I had to change schedules myself. Second, the host tried to drive me and other volunteers back while she was drunk after a night of dancing. Third, the host forced me to work while I had food poisoning.

Karen and her boyfriend made me feel very well hosted and welcomed in the hostel. Karen is flexible with hours so I had plenty of time to visit Puebla. I was taking photos of the object and designing the website. The volunteer's room is of good quality. The hostel's breakfast is basic so Karen also bought us other food. The hostel is just in the city center, therefore might be a bit loud from the street. It's a great place to meet other travelers! Highly recommend!
