I had the best experience on the finca! Jennifer and Mabel are the most wonderful hosts and made everyday special. The farm itself is also stunning and the work we do was exciting!! I loved everything about the farm Monte!

My stay at the Finca was truly amazing! The Hosts Jennifer and Marbel were so nice and caring. I really felt welcomed and apreciated and they gave us volunteers everything we needed. I loved being surrounded by the nature, seeing wild animals and the work was fun. I was able to improve my spanish and got to experience the real live in Costa Rica! Big recommendation! 🫶🏻🫶🏻

Staying at the Finca was truly amazing! While being constantly in touch with nature and being around a ton of different animals it really is a unique experience! Jennifer and Mabel are the best hosts and great people! I truly enjoyed my stay at the farm Monte. It's perfect to get to know locals and costa rican culture because there's almost no tourists near town. While there's not so much to do in the area it is a really chill place to stay at and i would highly recommend it to everyone loving nature!

This was my first WorldPackers trip and this was a really unique first experience! Jennifer and Mabel were very welcoming and generous hosts. I was impressed by their flexibility to adapt to various situations and make my stay as comfortable as possible. The work was agreed upon: gardening, cleaning up farm areas and the pool and assembling/disassembling things. They have a lot of animals and plenty of places to explore on their farm, and it was in close proximity to a grocery store, shops, etc. The humidity and mosquitoes were expected but still be mentally and physically prepared!

This was my first worldpackers experience and It absolutely could not have been better! Jennifer and Mabel are amazing hosts that are very laid back and cool! The work was simple and ranged from doing field work to cleaning up areas! So many cute animals on their property and it was the most peaceful atmosphere at night! I met some very good friends and would overall recommend this experience ! Make sure to bring a good rain jacket , plenty of bug spray and after bite cream! Also ask Mabel for a personalized the farm Monte shirt!

I stayed at the farm Monte for 3 and a half weeks and really enjoyed my time. The work was very manageable as it was only 3 hours everyday, but be prepared for the heat and ants/mosquitos. I met a lot of other amazing travelers here and we were able to find things to do together with help from Jennifer and Mabel's suggestions. There's not a ton to do in the area but I really enjoyed just relaxing on the beautiful property. We all sat together for each meal which was really nice and it was easy to make myself at home!

Amazing experience! The hosts are super welcoming and great people. I met many other travelers and made a little home away from home! The work was for 3 hours Monday-Friday and I found it enjoyable to be working outside within the beautiful nature. The hosts are great chefs and very accommodating to dietary restrictions. Overall I would definitely recommend this experience.

I had the most fantastic experience at the farm Monte! Jennifer and Mabel were endlessly welcoming and hospitable. They answered any and all questions and did everything in their power to make my stay as comfortable, enriching, and fun as possible. The finca is beautiful - the grounds are a perfect place to immerse yourself in nature; the animals are a delight; and the area that has been set up for volunteers is cozy and well-equipped. The work was exactly as agreed upon. The tasks were diverse and flew by over the very manageable 3-hour a day chunks. I would recommend the finca to anyone!

I stayed for 3 weeks at La finca and had a great time! It was peaceful and the nature was beautiful. The work is not too hard, and the meals are yummy. I had a very relaxing and fun time meeting other volunteers! Definitely a camping experience, with lots of bugs. The dogs, cat, and pig are super adorable.

Era una buena experiencia, con alegría y buen humor de parte de las anfitrionas y otros voluntarias! el trabajo fue super interesante y Jeny nos daba mucha autonomía, también era fácil comunicar juntos! Tenía suerte de ver muchos animales, perezosos, rana, tucán,… Dado que la finca se encuentra en plena naturaleza. El lugar es “roots”, entonces hay que gustar este tipo de experiencia y de manera de vivir, pero yo quería un proyecto en la naturaleza y con sencillez, así que fue el sitio perfecto! Gracias por todo Jeny & Mabel (y todos los animales tan bonitos)! Que vayan bien ✨
