I'd like to erase this experience from my memory. I'm only writing this because all of her reviews are 4 - 5 stars and I don't think that's an accurate representation. Do your due diligence. If you're on a budget and in a vulnerable position, make sure you have backup plans

Tons of colorful birds, fruits, animals and a private river to fresh up. We were also offered 2 tours and the local breakfast was included. Most work was easy & fun. Installations are rudimentary, much stinging ants, mosquitoes & flies. Camping, cooking and chilling all outside. The village is remote & authentic. Take the bus to explore around! Cloths can get damaged from work & this position requires autonomy and a sense of self-management. Fast drying & work clothes recommended. Hosts are quite present, flexible & understandable. The biodiversity is MAGNIFICIENT, hosts truly love nature.

The hosts are great and have a great place with lots of animals the only thing that really bothered me is that there are lots of mosquitoes 😔

I had a wonderful experience! It was amazing to sleep in a tent and be woken up by the sounds of birds and monkeys. The work depends on what has to be done, to maintain the farm :) Jennifer and Mabel are lovely and wonderful hosts 🫶

This was one of my favourite experiences travelling, I really got to connect with nature, I saw sloths, toucans, macaws, snakes, alongside with all of the farm animals! This is an amazing place for me to recharge my social battery which was highly needed for me. Big thanks to Jennifer and Mabel, for being great even though I wasn't the most sociable haha. 💗

Jennifer and Mabel were absolutely wonderful hosts! This experience was just what I was looking and hoping for with a way to get to know Jennifer and Mabel and learn about how they live while also connecting with nature, learning new skills, and getting to know a new place. The hosts communicated well, were flexible, and seemed to be genuinely excited to show me around. Very highly recommend!!

Harry and I have really enjoyed this experience. The work can be demanding at times but the girls are flexible and encourage you to take breaks if needed. I would definitely recommend it!

This was my first (World Packers) experience so what better way to start, by getting my hands dirty, literally. I stayed at the farm for a week and as a group we did a variety of tasks to help maintain and promote ecotourism. It helped me respect nature, local people and perspectives. I highly recommend this experience if you are not afraid of a little work out in the elements and redefining the true meaning of ecotourism.

Excelente experiência. Mabel e Jenifer são nota 10. Há vários trabalhos a serem feitos. As tarefas são feitas sem pressão e o ambiente é de muito respeito. A comida é muito boa. A barraca não é muito confortável por causa do calor. A cidade fica a 500 metros da Finca e tem tudo que você precisa. A Finca é em La Colônia, a 6 km de Guapiles. Fizemos uma caminhada de 2,5 horas para chegar a uma cascata linda junto com Jenifer, Mabel e os outros voluntários. Tem uma cozinha à disposição dos voluntários. Recomendo este voluntariado para todos que queiram contato com a natureza.
