The Experience

We need a hand in basic hostel tasks, such as helping during the breakfast time (serving, preparing, washing and cleaning) and night guardian. Our hostel is right in front of the beautiful Iseo lake, 10minutes walking from Lovere city center (rated one of the most beautiful village in Italy since 2003) and surrounded by nature. A basic level of Italian in speaking is a plus.

I already miss Lovere! This charming place, surrounded by mountains and with easy access to other Italian cities, stole my heart. My volunteering experience was wonderful, the breakfasts were amazing and the team was so thoughtful in providing gluten free options for me, which meant a lot. Everyone was kind and welcoming. Working hours were respected and the tasks were simple, giving me plenty of time to explore. It was exactly what I needed: nature, peace and the chance to visit historic cities. Totally recommend it! 🩵⚓️⛰️

I had a great experience volunteering at this hostel! The team was welcoming and kind. The location is perfect if you love nature and want to disconnect — ideal for hiking, kayaking, and enjoying the beautiful lake view. Everything was very clean. You share a room with guests, and usually you are either alone or with one other volunteer in the hostel. The work is well organized and tasks are clear. Some days can be quite busy, and you may be assigned night shifts, which can make going out in the evening more difficult. Still, it's a really great opportunity I thank the whole team !

I had a great experience! Valentina, Michele and the entire staff were all very welcoming and nice. The work is well explained & simple. The cleaning ladies are both very sweet, I worked with Romina and it was great. We were 2 volunteers which was a plus, since there's only one shared room so you don't meet too many other solo travellers. It's a great place to recharge and relax with lots of fun things to do in nature (hiking, kayaking, etc). The public transport isn't the best but could be worse. The free breakfast is great and beds are very comfortable. I would recommend :)) Grazie mille!!

My time at the hostel was great! The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the work was straight forward and not too extensive. The accommodation was very comfortable and the hostel is in a perfect location. I would definitely consider coming back to this beautiful town and hostel.

I had a wonderful experience at the hostel! The management and housekeeping teams were super kind and welcoming, the tasks were clear, and the shifts were well organized. The hostel was a quiet and relaxing environment, and there was lots of time to swim in the lake, go hiking, and explore the beautiful town of Lovere and the surrounding areas.
