Honestly, I couldn't have hoped for anything better — as a first volunteering experience, I'd give it a 10 out of 10. Malcom and Kay are incredibly kind people with whom you can talk about anything, and any question you have, they'll solve it with a smile on their face. Regarding the stay, I have no complaints: the room was very spacious, and the farm was very pleasant and welcoming. As for the work, the tasks are very manageable and don't require any prior knowledge, since they explain everything you need to know. I loved these two weeks, and it's an experience I recommend to everyone.

We have spent 2 weeks at the farm and it has been a wonderful experience. Kay and Malcom are very attentive people, very nice and always willing to help. Also, as for the work on the farm, they are very flexible and not very hard work. It is a lovely farm where you learn a lot. As for the language, we have never felt uncomfortable speaking English because we have always ended up understanding each other somehow. For our first experience it could not have been better, 100%.

Try to enjoy every minute of your staying. Kay is an amazing person that cares so much about her place, her animals and also the person who stay with them. Just like Malcolm with his passion for growing things and taking care of the animals with such care. (Malcolm is probably the person you gonna spend more time with). Make sure to understand the dynamic and help them as much as you can. They changed the way i see some things, for better. So all you have to do is spend time with them. As much as you can :)

I enjoyed the time at the farm! Work was fun and manageable because they make sure it fits your capacity. They're aware& against the exploitation of volunteers, so you'll be feel respected. So it's important for us as volunteers to respect and help them, too. Kay is an inspiring and strong woman. She has good relationships with the local community and I had opportunities to interact with locals. Malcom is such an interesting person with lots of travel experience in South Asia and Morocco. They've shared us many stories, life advice, and wisdom which I'll remember. Thank you so much xx

We had an amazing 10 days at the farm! It was our first worldpacker experience and Kay and Malcolm made us feel so welcome. We learnt lots about gardening and composting, some new dishes (all incredibly delicious) and played many a game of scrabble out in the sun! Kay took us to and from the station so we could explore on our days off as well which was so nice. Thank you for having us!
