I enjoyed being there and I really liked working in the cafe, as there are also different shifts. However, I found the compo toilets a bit awkward, but it was fine for two weeks. But if you have a problem with odors, you should be aware of this. If you had any problems or other concerns, you could always go to the people in the community:)

The time I spent here went by so fast and I really enjoyed it! All the community members were kind, helpful and ensured that I had everything I needed. The work at the cafe was very straightforward and consisted mostly of dishwashing, cleaning and making the B&B rooms. It wasn't the most exciting work but very doable and the times were always respected. What I wasn't aware of before my arrival was the 1km distance between the accommodation and main house and the 2kms between the accommodation and cafe. It was tiring at first but I got used to it quickly! Overall, it was a great experience!

While only a few hours a day sounds easy, when it comes to farm work, make no mistake it is hard but it will keep you lean. I got to meet so many travelers from many other countries and everyone was friendly and happy to socialize. There is great access to nature here! My comfort level for bugs really increased during this period which I view as a good thing. We went on some fun excursions. The host Paulina was very kind and caring. Occasionally misunderstandings would be confronted publicly which made some uncomfortable but it is the communities practice to honestly and openly communicate.

I recommend the experience to everyone who loves nature, since you will be surrounded by it. If you're looking for an opportunity to get in touch with nature and knowing people from around the world this will be perfect for you if you're ready. The people are very nice and always ready to help and that's create a familiar environment!

The farm & permanent community members were welcoming & friendly! Accommodations were very comfortable, and the food was great. The work was fair, and volunteer work hours were respected. It was evident that the permanent community members truly care for eachother and enjoy living together. It was difficult to feel fully integrated with the permanent community as a newcomer, which I suppose is to be expected as they have all been living together for years. But everyone was very friendly, and I did have the opportunity to connect with 1 other volunteer while on the trip, which was lovely!

I really enjoyed my time at the farm and the café. I felt very welcome. Working in the café was fun and busy. We had a lot of free time to explore beautiful surroundings and go on trips.

This was my first volunteer experience and I had a wonderful time working at the farm!! I loved being surrounded by pure nature. The people on the farm were lovely and I loved the food!! In the evenings we played a lot of board games, which were always fun. You have to be aware that there isn't much going on close by and the simple way of living might not be for everyone. I would recommend coming before September, it starts to get really cold in September… Overall I couldn't have wished for a better first volunteer experience then this one :))

The community was welcoming, making my first Worldpackers experience comforting. I enjoyed good food and a comfortable shared dorm, but nights can get cold in autumn. My café work involved cleaning and organizing; I expected more cooking and serving, but they respected my working hours and days off. The farm is a peaceful retreat in beautiful Swedish nature. For city activities, you can bike to Karlshamn or take the train to Lund or Malmö. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, meeting diverse people, having great conversations, and playing games together.

The community is a very warm and welcoming place. The longterm community members are the sweetest people and I had great experiences with all the other woldpacker volunteers, hanging out in the afternoons and evenings after work. Everyone loves games and we had some nice game and movie nights together. The 25h/week work conditions were 100% respected with a snackbreak everyday at halftime and the food was also very good, especially the dinners :) This was my first worldpackers experience and I think the community was a great place to start.

This was my first experience with Worldpackers and I had an incredible time at the farm. The surroundings were beautiful and allowed us to dicover Sweden's nature, and I wish I could have stayed a little longer. Denise always took care of us and made sure we were comfortable with the work, which was fair and easy.
