If you are someone starting your volunteering journey, this is the best place to start. From the people, to the nature, to the food, and to the community, it feels like a home away from home. The sleeping arrangements were cosy and a chance to have some downtime away from society. The working hours were respected to the minute, and you are asked beforehand if there needs to be any extra help. Both the permanent members of the community and owners will make you feel so welcome so thank you for the opportunity and hope to see you again in the future!

The community that is being built here is amazing. Everyone is so kind and welcoming, I was unfortunately only here for a short period but I wish I could have stayed longer. The focus on environmental impact and sustainability is not only impressive but also inspiring. The area is beautiful and the bike ride to the city is long but enjoyable. I'm already planning my return! I'm grateful for the experience and definitely recommend!!

In my opinion, what one remembers from a volunteering experience is not so much the place itself, but the people. I may not have arrived at the best time to meet more volunteers, but from the beginning every member of the small community made me feel at home! I learned a lot about gardening and witnessed firsthand how a small community works from the inside. Really grateful for the experience and for having met such extraordinary human beings. :)

The time I spent here went by so fast and I really enjoyed it! All the community members were kind, helpful and ensured that I had everything I needed. The work at the cafe was very straightforward and consisted mostly of dishwashing, cleaning and making the B&B rooms. It wasn't the most exciting work but very doable and the times were always respected. What I wasn't aware of before my arrival was the 1km distance between the accommodation and main house and the 2kms between the accommodation and cafe. It was tiring at first but I got used to it quickly! Overall, it was a great experience!

While only a few hours a day sounds easy, when it comes to farm work, make no mistake it is hard but it will keep you lean. I got to meet so many travelers from many other countries and everyone was friendly and happy to socialize. There is great access to nature here! My comfort level for bugs really increased during this period which I view as a good thing. We went on some fun excursions. The host Paulina was very kind and caring. Occasionally misunderstandings would be confronted publicly which made some uncomfortable but it is the communities practice to honestly and openly communicate.

I recommend the experience to everyone who loves nature, since you will be surrounded by it. If you're looking for an opportunity to get in touch with nature and knowing people from around the world this will be perfect for you if you're ready. The people are very nice and always ready to help and that's create a familiar environment!

The farm & permanent community members were welcoming & friendly! Accommodations were very comfortable, and the food was great. The work was fair, and volunteer work hours were respected. It was evident that the permanent community members truly care for eachother and enjoy living together. It was difficult to feel fully integrated with the permanent community as a newcomer, which I suppose is to be expected as they have all been living together for years. But everyone was very friendly, and I did have the opportunity to connect with 1 other volunteer while on the trip, which was lovely!

I really enjoyed my time at the farm and the café. I felt very welcome. Working in the café was fun and busy. We had a lot of free time to explore beautiful surroundings and go on trips.

This was my first volunteer experience and I had a wonderful time working at the farm!! I loved being surrounded by pure nature. The people on the farm were lovely and I loved the food!! In the evenings we played a lot of board games, which were always fun. You have to be aware that there isn't much going on close by and the simple way of living might not be for everyone. I would recommend coming before September, it starts to get really cold in September… Overall I couldn't have wished for a better first volunteer experience then this one :))
