My second time volunteering for this organization and it was as great as the previous year. We'd work only in the morning and we were free to do whatever we wanted in the afternoon. I met a bunch of travellers and we had so much fun! Gracias Aríel, Miguel, Marisol y Jeanpiere no puedo esperar a volver el próximo año 🩷

My experience with the project was conflicting because homestay was amazing thanks to Lily and her family but Ariel and staff were continuously unprofessional and unable to care for their guests. Long story short, my girlfriend and I experienced broken verbal agreements in terms of our daily activities that we were paying for, a contract agreement that was broken multiple times by the project staff and inappropriate relationships between staff and guests that also violated contract agreements.the project gives the chance to see and amazing part of the world, but expect not to remotely get what you paid for

We had a great 2 weeks staying with Miguel and his family about 4km outside of Puerto Barqurizo Moreno. Marie was an excellent cook and fed us very well and let us do laundry whenever we liked. The accommodation was very nice and they provided mosquito nets. There is also a pool and hammocks and 2 very cute dogs. They activities were good, we did things like weeding out non-native species by hand or by machete, moving soil for seedlings, clearing paths with a machete and beach cleanups. To do these activities we went to different parts of the island so got to swim and snorkel afterwards.

This was the best volunteering place! The people there were amazing. In the free time all volunteers spent time together with the family cooking, talking or playing games. It was like being part of a big family. The work was quite what I expected: six hours a day, gardening and construction, I was allowed to paint the walls. You have to pay 200$ a week, but for me it was worth it, because the family took us to amazing places after work and on our free days. They don't speak English there which was a great way of improving my Spanish. 100% recommend, thank you for that fantastic experience❤️
