The Experience

I am looking for an easy-going, organised and reliable person to help a round the house with maintaining tidy the house, cleaning and welcoming guests. This volunteer position is for a minimum of 3 months stay.

My experience the host in La gomera was perfect, I felt immediately at home there. The location in the city is great and you can explore the whole island in your free time. The host Rebeca is so kind and we organized a lot of amazing activities together. The work in general is easy and pretty relaxed. The whole atmosphere in the coliving is wonderful and i would 100% recommend this experience to everyone. Thank you so much for an amazing time, for all the help and that you welcomed us with open arms. I miss you guys already and will never forget this adventure with you

I stayed for 8 weeks the host and made memories that I will cherish forever, I met so many amazing people and learnt so much from everyone in this community. The schedule and layout of shifts is very organised so it is always clear what is expected of you as a volunteer. There is plenty of free time as well as two days off a week & during my time here I was able to see many beautiful parts of the island. As my first time teaching yoga I am so grateful to have been in such a supportive space. Thank you Maria for your kindness, the host is such a special place 🌵💗

I loved my time the host! I spent 2 months volunteering here and split my time between La Gomera and the host and highly recommend volunteering here! Rebeca and Maria are incredible and the entire community the host really feels like a family. There are always different events going on and both the islands are absolutely beautiful. The work is simple and never goes over 25 hours so you always have free time to explore the island. Would definitely recommend :)

I had a short but really wonderful stay the host. It's a beautiful place if you like hiking and going to the beach. Rebecca and Maria are really nice hosts and they care a lot that everybody feels well in the hostel💚 As it was low season there were not so many guests but therefore it felt like a small family, especially during the fun community events like family dinner or beach volleyball. I had a really nice time!

The host Colicing is such a warm hearted place. Everyone is open, friendly and helping each other. This community is really like a family. Maria a great host. She is very organised, gives a lot of freedom( so you can explore the Island) and offers a lot. The tasks were easy to implement and as volunteers we were respected like everyone else.
