The Experience

Volunteer is asked to help us with: - checking in and out the guests - explaining them the way the orders work at the restaurant, showing them to the rooms and explaining them where they can find everything they need related to the accommodation - explaining in detail the boat trips and other activities that we offer to our guests - helping the guests with any kind of information they need about the surroundings of the location

It was an amazing month @ the hostel. The entire staff is so wonderful, from the kitchen ladies to Olli and Brett who runs the place, we had so much fun! And the food, wow, so good! I could enjoy all the tours and activities they offer for free and get to know some local secret spots away from the tourist crowd what I loved! The schedule is flexible and you can easily adjust if you need to. You'll have a shared room for up to 2 volunteers. It's a quiete area, what was great to rest. To go to town you can rent a scooter or take the local bus for only 100 bah. Thanks for everything guys!

I stayed four weeks at the hostel Bungalow. It was my second experience and again, it was wonderful! The place itself with the beautiful nature is amazing. The staff, the other volunteers and the owner, Olli, everything wonderful. I could have a small view about the different tasks and also problems about running a Hostel, this was wonderful for me, because i want to learn something new. There is just one small thing that was not perfect: the sleeping situation. There is no Aircon in the volunteers room, so it was a bit hot for me. But it was totally okay, because of all the good things :)

I loved every day as a volunteer here. You learn the job quickly, you have to be very sociable, motivated, like to help and everything goes well. The guests are always very nice. Everything is well organized, you just need to know the right basic informations ! It's a perfect place to be close to nature, animals and to relax. Thanks again Oli , see you next time !!!

My stay at the hostel has been simply memorable. I met so many international travellers and made a true and beautiful friendship with the local staff. You will fall in love with the place. The hours are super well respected, and you deal about it with the other two volunteers. The job is easy, you will learn fast, just don't be lazy! Thanks to Ollie and to all the others that made this experience unforgettable.
