The Experience

Please be aware we only accept couples or 2 friends. We have a no-dig vegetable garden. Started a new orchard. Need to renovate an old orchard. Clear land, rebuild a polytunnel and a greenhouse. House cleaning required weekly. Inside we are converting & upgrading the living spaces. Do you have DIY skills? We can teach you what we know & so you can learn with us. We have plenty of decorating to do.

Sarah and Andrew are two very welcoming and kind people who mixed a good amount of work and fun together. Our mornings were filled with work that consisted of cleaning, painting and gardening. In the afternoons our free time was filled with relaxation or exploring local villages with Sarah. My time at this work away was very enjoyable, and I would highly recommend.

Sarah and Andrew were so wonderful throughout the whole experience, extremely hospitable and easy to talk to. We learned a lot about new recipes and eco friendly farming methods. While some days the work was difficult, it was extremely rewarding and fulfilling. I'd recommend this experience to anybody. So happy to have new friends in France!

This was a fantastic first worldpackers experience, Sarah & Andrews hospitality exceeded our expectations, as did all the yummy foods we made in the kitchen. It was always healthy, hearty meals during lunch. Work was never overwhelmingly difficult and we always ended at the agreed time. Spent our days off in the french countryside, they always made sure to recommend a few spots or things to do. We felt right at home and we were sad to leave them. We will miss you guys!!
