The Experience

Jobs will be helping to cook, clean and wash up in the kitchen. Also general help around the centre, helping to keep it clean and tidy. eg gardening, watering, painting etc. Accommodation is in a caravan with a double bed, and an outdoor shower and toilet. We are looking for an individual or a couple, and preferably someone with a driving licence and own car in order to help pick up supplies, drop off laundry etc. If over 25 can use our car.

I had an awesome week at the Center with Deirdre and Bill. It is such a tranquil place, and I was able to really disconnect from my everyday life. I was there during a the Center, and helped with food preparation and clearing up. I learnt so much from cooking with Deirdre in her kitchen. I also was able to chat with the guests and loved walking around the property and picking almonds. I walked to Comares too, which was one of my highlights. We had an amazing time at the Center! Deidre and Bill are both very very nice, and so are their four sweet dogs!We felt at home right from the start, and really enjoyed staying up in the caravan. It offered great views and privacy. We mostly stayed in the kitchen, helping Deidre cook and prepare the meals. We really enjoyed her cooking, so it was great to get some behind the scenes. We didn't have the time / possibility to join a lot of yoga classes, but we did our own up by the van which was nice ! If you stay longer and like hiking, we recommend walking to comares! (2,5 hour hike ish)

Our experience at the Center couldn't have been better! Deirdre and Bill are truly caring and deeply kind. The work is quite flexible and consists mainly of helping in the kitchen and cleaning the main areas. We stayed in the caravan high up in the grounds, which was very cozy and offered privacy. I would love to come back to the Center in these beautiful mountains. Thanks again

Our first worldpacker experience and it exceeded all expectations! the Center was perfect, from beautiful views to incredible nature! Deirdre and Bill are such caring people that truly make the Center feel like home (also Blanca, Joey, Buster & Bella) Our tasks mostly consisted of helping around the Center and helping Deirdre cook when guests were there (might I add that her cooking is incredible)! We stayed in a cozy caravan which was tucked away with its own toilet, shower, and amazing sunset views :) We could not recommend this experience more!! Thanks for everything Deirdre and Bill <3
