I really enjoyed my time here. Met so many amazing people and learnt about real farm life. It was great to eat what you harvest and it makes you really appreciate where your food comes from. Hannah was great at leading us and the days were varied. It's right in the middle of nature so the sunsets were brilliant. The dogs are also so sweet

In our experience (I went with a friend), the surrounding area is nice. There are beautiful mountains, but no lakes or rivers nearby. There are a few towns close, but it's a little difficult to get around because there are no buses until you reach the nearest city. Regarding the farm, I think the work is hard, but they give you breaks and respect the working hours. The accommodation is dirty but quiet, and the food is sometimes not enough for all the volunteers, which is a problem because there are no supermarkets nearby. It's a good volunteering experience because but not for too many days.

Mathias thank you for a very bad response. If you read the enail which i send you is written that the rooms in which younstay and only is used by YOU. It aslo has to be cleaned by you. By the team. Everything what you wrote is a fact. Since we a re organic farm in the middle of forest. Not enough food with organic vegetables and all food given? Why nobody speaks when you are here? This is really not a feedback. This is crying over your not active aproach while beeing here. Wish you al the best

This was my first workaway experience and I enjoyed my two weeks at the farm, meeting some wonderful volunteers and experiencing farm life in a rural Slovenian village! It's important to note that there isn't much interaction between the host and the volunteers, but Metka is so so lovely and you will become very close with the other volunteers :) We had some communication issues throughout my stay, so make sure the expectations are clear - if you have questions or something doesn't seem fair, just ask!! Definitely important to self advocate and work independently :)

Thank you so much for staying with us. Doing this worldpackers experience means to step out of the life in which u live. And learn something new. As we also say this farm is our life and vegetables, animals need constant presens. How much time u spend with us it also depends on your iniciative. Or u stay in the room or u spend ttime outside and are not afraid to spend time with us/family also when u are not working. So be proactive and dont wait for others to do what you are expecting .connect

It was overall a nice stay. I learned a lot about harvesting which i still think about today. Unfortunately this time of the year, it was pretty cold and a bit lonely because most of the time there was just one volunteer there with me and we didnt see the hosts a lot. But apart from that, i really enjoyed my stay and i would definitely recommend that host :)

It is a very cool place! The living and sleeping room is really big and you got a lot free time to see the beautiful country. I learned some interesting things for example how to harvest vegetables, but you also have to be ready for some boring tasks as collecting plastic from the ground. It's also nice that you're always working outside. The staff is often busy so you won't really see them. If you like to see the farm life check this out and make your chest wet! It was a pleasure to be here, thanks.

Metka is a great host. She always asks if everyone is ok. The hours are respected. The tasks can be tiring, but doable. Bogdan can be a funny guy once you know him and Gregor is your man for every possible crisis there is. You won't see the family too much after work, so ask Metka about other volunteers. You'll create a whole vibe with them. When I came, there was 7 of us and we became super close with each other in just a few days. If you want to spend time with family, just follow them around farm. They're great to talk to, but very busy, so you need to keep their pace ;) Great place <3

I absolutely loved my time at the farm! It was for me a month of connecting with other travelers, with nature and the Slovenian culture. The work was sometimes, though rarely, hard due to the weather, but very rewarding and you learn so much. Metka and the rest of the team are amazing at what they do, and so welcoming to everyone entering their home. I would recommend this experience to everyone!

I absolutely loved my time volunteering at the farm, it's very secluded on a beautiful mountain top and the views are incredible. Metka is a truely inspiring person and great leader who is always open to chat, help you learn and make sure everything is good for you. I felt right at home the moment I arrived. I wish Metka and her family all the best!

Harvesting the veggies, planting, weeding out and cleaning the veggies for the market, among many other things, that was a highly rewarding experience I'm so grateful to've lived! I was also lucky to be surrounded by great volunteers and not to mention Metka who is the star of the far, but behind the scenes as she says haha. Great food, laundry service, and weekly supplies were also included. The work is enjoyable and fun, but can get really hard due to the weather sometimes, I recommend be ready for that. I'm beyond grateful with Metka and the farm for this experience, Hvala, se vidimo :)
