Volunteering was truly unforgettable. From the start, Jhon welcomed me warmly, making me feel part of something special. His support and belief in my ideas allowed me to contribute in many ways.. Honerine's cooking was a true taste of Rwanda. But most of all, the children at the school captured my heart, each one full of joy and potential. The work Jhon and the foundation are doing is life-changing, and it was a privilege to be part of it. I'm already counting the days until I can return. Thank you for this incredible opportunity.

John was a responsive host from the start. I communicated any questions with him days before arriving. The children at the campsite are so energetic and great to work with. If you can learn ANY Kinyarwanda beforehand, do it for them! Note: This is a rural, camping experience. There is little Wifi and cellular networks, so be prepared. John is also very helpful and will recommend or take you to places where you can easily get access. If you're here for the national park, you're in luck because he worked there for 2 years and can answer any questions about that too.
