The Experience
Checking for arrivals and finishing the check-outs and check-ins, cleaning apartments, checking the rooms for new sheets and helping if necessary with cleaning. Helping with reception, check-ins and check-outs, housekeeping, cleaning, interacting with guests.

This trip was everything I had hoped for and more. Firstly, the hostel was cozy, the working hours were reasonable, the job was simple, and I met so many amazing people while staying here. But, secondly, the host is the reason this hostel will always hold a special place in my heart. Miro is caring, fun, outgoing, and adaptable. Not only did we have an excellent tour guide, but party nights would be incomplete without Miro and his red speaker. My friend and I felt understood and cared for! :) The hostel is close to a train/bus station, so it was simple to the hostel to nearby towns and explore.

I could not have hoped for a better first-time volunteering experience! Miro truly welcomed us and gave us a sense of being in a home away from home. There were fewer tasks to complete because it was a slow season, giving us more time to explore the country and its people! Miro was the greatest at providing ideas on how to fully understand and immerse ourselves in the culture. I really have never seen someone care so much about about their guests and am super gratful for the experience. Hope to come back someday!!

Thank you Miro for being a wonderful host! I had a great time in Podgorica getting to experience the local culture. During my stay I also got to visit nearby cities and explore more of Montenegro. Miro was a very generous host. He made sure that I was comfortable and having a good time. He has plenty of tips and recommendations and gave me lots of free time to explore. Thank you once again!
