The Experience

Venha vivenciar a nossa metodologia de produção de mudas. Precisamos de ajuda em várias atividades diárias. Desde o preparo de composto orgânico e produção de húmus de minhoca. Passando pelo preparo de substratos e canteiros para plantio, semeadura e germinação em estufa, clonagem, de mais de 80 espécies de plantas, entre ervas e frutíferas. Ajuda com reparos e manutenção da chácara. Amplie sua visão a respeito da Agroecologia!

Nini and Jorge are very good hosts. I felt like it was home there. I learnt a lot of things about agroecology and PANCs. We ate so many amazing lunches with the plants of the garden. We had really interesting discussions about sustainable practices in agriculture. I recommand highly to go at Nini and Jorge home.

This is a really special place. I learnt so much from Nini and Jorge in my short time here and have been deeply inspired by their project! The location is very peaceful. The meals were the most delicious food I have eaten in Brazil (and maybe anywhere!), all made with fresh ingredients and 'PANCs' from the garden. From interesting political discussions to card games, I loved their company. Unfortunately I was ill in my second week so I was unable to work but they were very caring and understanding.

Minha experiência na comunidade, foi muito boa, aprendi sobre PANCs, como fazer o plantio de mudas e sementes, tive mais informações sobre o MST, conheci o projeto Horizontes, que é uma associação que contribui, no desenvolvimento de produtores do região metropolitana de Belo Horizonte. Conheci a Nini, que é uma mulher incrível e que é parte fundamento do projeto Horizontes, e seu companheiro Sr. Jorge que me encimou a reconhecer algumas PANCs. Recomendo ir e saber mais sobre o projeto na comunidade, que contribui para uma vida com mais autonomia alimentar e sustentabilidade.
