The Experience
👋 Our countryside home is the perfect place to get to know the English countryside & immerse yourself in rural life. We've got big gardens, amazing views & a friendly dog. 🏡 Help us around the house & garden with every day jobs & projects. 🤝 This is a 2 week cultural & work exchange. We'll give you an amazing time with activities arranged for you to explore the local area. This is a true shared experience with hands on hosts.

Clare and Charles are kind, generous and amazing hosts. Our experience with them couldn't have been better and we shared beautiful moments we will never forget. We got along really well and we helped in different things such as cooking and jobs inthe home homehomegarden andthe home homehomekitchen. Even we hadn't had any exeprience in gardening, the homehomejobs were easy and fun to do and we always felt we had Clare and Charles' help whenever we needed it. I just can say that, if you've never volunteered before, don't be afraid of getting out of your comfort zone because, for me, staying atthe home homehomehomehas been wholesome ;)

Clare & Charles are a couple full of sweetness, kindness and love. the homehomevoluntary work wasn't just about doing tasks in exchange for food and a bed; it went far beyond. Cultural exchange, learning new skills and leavingthe home homehomecomfort zone werethe home homehomeconcepts they taught us fromthe home homehomebegginning. They are flexible, open-minded and curious and they made us feel comfortable at all times. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone, except from those afraid of bugs, as they arethe home homehomenearest neighbours ;)

Living in the beautiful English countryside means that you will have to get used to spiders and bugs, just like Queralt did! Well done Queralt - she soon realised that there is nothing to be afraid of. Little creatures are part of the beautiful landscapes.

I had a delightful experience helping Clare and Charles. It's been my Best volunteering so far! Clare is such a nice teacher, she has a great methodology to teach new English words. She's very organized, she even helped me to plan my journey to my next volunteering. Besides that, I learned how to use power tools. I enjoyed playing ping pong and pickle ball with Charles as well. the homehomefood was delicious, I ate tacos, quesadillas, guacamole, corn (elotes), fish and chips, hash browns, and much more. the homehomeroom where I spent my time is big and cozy ¡Gracias Totales Clara y Carlos! Nos vemos pronto.

Clare and Charles are very generous with their time and they were willing to take me to lots of different places and activities. I really enjoyed going wild swimming, spending time inthe home homehomegarden and going tothe home homehomedrag bingo. You can expect to have your time spent with Clare and Charles to be highly organised and structured. I didthe home homehomeagreed time inthe home homehomegarden, paintedthe home homehomecloak room and helped with general cleaning, but I also did cooking, baking and decorating. Their property is very beautiful and quiet, a lovely country escape. Thank you forthe home homehomeopportunity, Clare and Charles.
