Rebecca is an amazing host, kind, funny, respectful and patient with the volunteers. The work was as agreed and was physically not too hard, cleaning and changing sheets, and there are other staff too to work alongside, all of whom are friendly. Taichung is a lovely and peaceful city and the hostel is located near the university so you get to speak to many students working at the hostel. The room was good and I particularly liked the roof space. I enjoyed my time at the hostel :)

Rebecca is such a lovely and caring soul, she truly makes you feel at home and accommodates your needs. I loved the flexibility and relaxed pace of the work. Some days, especially on weekends, can get a bit busy, but it's always manageable. Taichung is a lively yet peaceful city, full of green parks and little oases where you can relax and stroll around. With its cheap and convenient transportation, getting around is a breeze. I'll deeply miss those breathtaking sunsets from the rooftop terrace. All the best ahead, the hostel family! : ))

Rebbeca was an amazing person to work with, and she really cares about how your experience will be working at the hostel. She is a very positive person and has good energy. The people working here are also very social and would invite me to try new things and eat out with them. The hostel was very clean, and the beds themselves were very comfortable as well. The location is also pretty good since it is literally right next to the busy night market, where there are a lot of different foods that you can try. I did the Creative Volunteer role, and I felt the work given to me was more than fair :)
