The Experience

We want to improve life on our small farm, we have sheep, goats, chickens, and pigs. We're looking for volunteers to help us take care of the animals throughout the year and take care of the garden. The farm also requires care for the buildings, as well as the fence. During the summer we need help to prepare food for the livestock, and in the winter to prepare the wood.

An unforgettable and unique experience. You truly become part of Milos and Dragana's family — including the grandmas and kids, who all make you feel as home. It's a great opportunity to experience authentic Orthodox family life. Work can be physically demanding but always rewarding and done at a relaxed pace with proper breaks. Not ideal for vegans, as local food is a big part of the experience. The village is remote, so it's perfect if you enjoy nature and peaceful solitude. If you're open-minded and ready to embrace a different way of life, this experience is absolutely worth it.

Milos is a very kind person, with whom you can share wines and beers and have very good conversations, and also work concentrated on the tasks that are needed, such as taking care of the animals, some cleaning tasks. His family made me feel like someone else in their environment, they gave me delicious meals, we went for a hike in the mountains and even took me to his Aikido classes. Milos, thank you for everything, it was a great experience.
