Oscar is a nice guy and work is nice and easy. You get to meet lots of friendly locals of all ages, very easy to make friends. The shifts are not long at all, sometimes only 1-2 hours during a quiet day. The accommodation is very close to the café, 5-10 mins walk maximum. It is located in a very central area of the host with easy access to the subway and therefore to Seoul as well. My roommates were awesome and there's plenty of restaurants and bars around the area to hang out at. My only complaint would be the beds, quite uncomfortable and falling apart as well. Overall a great experience!

It was my second time volunteering at this language studio and it felt like coming back to second home!! It was fun to work with Oscar and the students again, as the host is pretty easygoing :) the accommodation is fine, but I have to say that the beds are getting real fragile and make a lot of noises when you move, so keep that in mind!! What I'm gonna miss are the friends and also family that I made along the way!!

I had an amazing month volunteering at Hasta English Studio! the host is such a vibrant the host at night, full of neon lights and local charm, it's not crowded with tourists. There's also a beautiful and spacious park nearby. The accommodation provided was fantastic. We always received the food or items we needed, and the atmosphere with the other volunteers felt like a family. ❤️ The work was very relaxed—sometimes the schedule wasn't full, so we could start later or leave earlier than expected. I would definitely do this volunteer experience again. It's sad to leave, Thank you Oscar!

I got to meet many amazing people, both locals and volunteers, which made my stay way more fun and enjoyable. The hours were respected and talking to the students is an incredible experience. Location is great, but it's not comfortable. The beds are all broken and make a lot of noise. At some point me and other people were sleeping on the floor around the house. The food is the basic, and it's not always there, so you'll have to eat out everyday. The cleaning lady doesn't go every week, so I suggest a schedule for the volunteers, to make sure everyone

It has been my first volunteering experience in general, and I've had such a great stay and so much fun thanks to Oscar, the volunteers, and the locals!!! The food provided was toast, eggs, rice, and ramen, so keep in mind that you might have to go out to eat. On the contrary, there are a lot of stores and restaurants around the apartment, which is also nearby the subway station! I would recommend volunteering here if you want to connect with the locals and learn more about their culture + explore Seoul and other cities :) P.S., the beds are kind of broken :")

Great experience, the work hours were good and work felt enjoyable, it's literally just having conversations in English. The apartment was super close to a train station and also close to where you work. Oscar is hilarious and a great host. I really cherish my time there and felt very lucky to be there at the same time with other amazing volunteers.

What a great experience! I spent 2 weeks the host and it really flew by so quickly. I had such great time with the other volunteers and I had an amazing time meeting locals. Oscar is a great, funny and friendly host! Work is pretty easy and you'll have plenty time to discover the host's surroundings. About the apartment it is very well located, only 5min walk from the subway station. But the beds are pretty fragile so if you give great importance to sleep, be aware! Apart from that, I am very very grateful for this experience and will miss the host and Hasta very much!! Thanks Oscar :)

Hasta Language gives the opportunity to connect with the korean culture and get close to the locals. Schedule are nice and give time to explore the host. The experience is recommended to discover a new country like Korea

My husband and I had a lovely time at the language studio the host! Oscar is a great host, he explained our tasks well and was very supportive. Talking to students was a lot of fun, and we learnt a lot about Korea (we talked to people 2-3 hours a day). Meeting other volunteers was great too! As for the drawbacks, the apartment can get crowded if all 7 people are in. Also, we didn't know our day off schedule until a couple of days in advance, so it wasn't always possible to plan day trips. These points didn't bother us too much, and we'd recommend this opportunity to other volunteers!

I stayed for about two and a half weeks and it was an amazing experience! The other volunteers made it an unforgettable experience. The only problem was the food that we got. There were only four ingredients which were not enough for three meals per day so you had to buy your own stuff as well or go out to restaurants. The apartment was located in a nice area and there was a lot to do. It's not too far from Seoul, Suwon or Incheon. The apartment is no luxury so you should not expect too much. Still I created great friendships and connections with local people and other volunteers!🥰
