This opportunity is truly amazing. You get to meet locals, and the work doesnt even feel like a job. It s really convenient to live the host. There is everything you need and you can get in Seoul in an hour. Oscar provide us with rice, eggs, ramyeon, detergent... Please realise here that Oscar is offering an amazing experience, so be reasonable if you ask anything and everything will be perfect. I am very grateful and would love to come back here. The bed situation is solved and everything is fine now.

I stayed the host at Oscar's Stay for 3 weeks (originally 2, but Oscar kindly let me extend after a job in another the host fell through). Oscar is very accommodating and happy to help with anything missing in the home. However, the listing claiming “Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner” is misleading and should be changed. Food provided is only rice, eggs, and instant ramen—nothing else. Even if requested, it will be declined. Sleeping is okay if you don't mind bunk beds, though at one point there were 7 people in a 2-bedroom apartment. The job itself is fun and a great way to meet Koreans.

I stayed for 4 months and for me it was a great experience! but a big part of it is made by the other volunteers who live with you so be mindful that you'll have to share food (eggs, rice and ramen - which is so nice to have!) 1 bathroom, kitchen, etc. That means cleaning after yourself and just being kind with one another. The job is so easy and fun sometimes you might need to adapt to beginners or advanced students, make them feel comfortable and welcomed rather than confused or frustrated 🥺 The bed situation is somewhat solved as we have 2 mattresses so it's not as uncomfortable to sleep.

The experience in the host was amazing. I made friends, built beautiful memories. Oscar is a very nice boss, he's always in a good mood. The flat is perfect too. Another extra point are the students. They are gentle and trying their best to improve their language skills. Thanks so much for these unforgettable weeks!

It has been wonderful experience. Oscar is a chill guy and he manages the schedule and students well. We are only assigned few hours per day and that leaves plenty of time to explore the host or even Seoul, Incheon and Suwon. It does not feel like work at all. I truly enjoy conversing with the students. Overall, I would recommend this place and would love to come back some day. Thank you so much Oscar for the opportunity. I left with a lof of good memories.

The experience was overall really good! Oscar is a great and fun host. I met some great people, and the work itself was really easy and enjoyable. It was definitely worth it. I think other have mentioned that the bed situation isn't the best but not a deal breaker for me.

The volunteering doesn't even feel like work: you get to chat with the locals and they're so funny and nice to talk to! Everyone is super friendly. 🫶🏼 The accommodation is in a great location, in a lovely area of the host full of restaurants and cafés and it's really easy to get to Seoul by subway. Oscar is the nicest and coolest person! I have a knee injury and asked if I could extend my stay and he was fine with it. Thank you so much Oscar!🙏🏻 I totally recommend this place to everyone and I'll definitely come back 😊

I had fun at the Cafè, Oscar is a nice guy and the work isn't hard, it's just a couple of hours per day. The accomodation is in a very good position and it's very close to the subway station so it's also easy to get to Seoul, but the beds could be better, there were people sleeping on the floor. Overall I would recommend this experience.

I really enjoyed volunteering at the Language Studio the host. I met a lot of wonderful people there and also the “job” is not hard to do. Also Oscar and the students and people going to the Language Studio to practice their english were all so nice and kind!! (And yeah… I think everyone knows about the bed-situation… ) So overall it was very fun and great experience and I really would have liked to stay longer… :(

Oscar was a great boss and the team was a pleasure to work with. If you like talking to locals, work itself never feels like it. That is the whole point, you are engaging with locals to talk with them about anything you want. Quite interesting, fun and engaging work! Would recommend to anyone. Only negative would be the bedding can be a little bit tight but if you've ever lived in a hostel before this is nothing new. Overall accomodation was good
