I spent 3 weeks at the project and it was a great way to immerse in the project culture and learn about sustainability. Lo-ue provided lots of knowledge about the project farming and well as the project culture. On your time off you can enjoy walking around the different villages and if you want a hike go to the waterfall. Carina and her friend were great company when she came to visit the farm. I will definitely be volunteering during the project season in the future. :)

Our stay on the project was absolutely amazing. Lo-Ue is a wonderful human and makes you feel so welcome and comfortable! The team on the farm are also great, always so kind & friendly. Carina is very helpful, always a message away if you need her and visits regularly. The work can be physical but it's very rewarding! You learn so much about the project farming and how sustainable agriculture is necessary, though a slow process, for the good of the planet and future generations. The village is beautiful and locals are so welcoming - also make sure to check out Lo-Ue's daughter's shop for Thai tea!!

Our time at the project was amazing and we miss it already. Lo-Ue and the team are very kind and welcoming. They will always check on you and make sure you are okay. The work is 5 hours a day and leaves you with a rewarding feeling of having helped. It is also very interesting to engage in every step of the project process from fertilising the trees to packaging the beans! Everyone in the project village is very friendly and welcomed us to several ceremonies with tea and dancing. I highly recommend this experience to learn, work hard, relax, eat good food, and immerse yourself in mountain life :)

A really special place. LoUe is an incredible host and so is his family, who farm alongside us. Carina & Werner are also really incredible hosts who drop in regularly & help westerners understand the bigger picture at play that can be lost in translation. This farm is two worlds in one: you get to experience indigenous life & stewardship, while also understanding the application of modern sustainability tools & scientific empiricism--this is a gift. I already miss LoUe's wonderful laugh and banana pancakes, and the gorgeous land. Bring breathable pants & shoes you don't care about ruining :)
