Somos Il Triangolo Hostel, estamos en Las Galeras, Samana. Buscamos personas que sean responsables, comprometidas con el trabajo y tengan entusiasmo y motivación. Las tareas son sencillas, en general de recepción, organizacion, y mantenimiento del orden y la limpieza. Se valoran habilidades en jardineria, mantenimiento, pintura, pintura artistica, conocimiento de idiomas. Es necesario hablar español y tener experiencia minima en recepcion.

My experience at El Triángulo was very calm and relaxing. I stayed for around ten days at the beginning of September, and since it was low season, the work was light and not demanding. I really enjoyed my stay, Luca is always super nice and ready to help with anything. Las Galeras is a magical place, full of beautiful beaches and many wonderful spots to discover.🌴

I had an incredible time volunteering at the hostel. Las Galeras is a small lovely town full of most wonderful paradise beaches. It's a peaceful place where you can take things slow and relax. The job is truly simple and light. Luca, the owner and supervisor is so understanding, flexible and patient. The work leaves you plenty of time to hang out and interact with the guests. The hostel itself is a nice space with a ping pong table and fussbol where the atmosphere is relaxed and everyone enjoys free time together. Volunteers stay in a room that is just a 2min walk away. This was a great volunteer experience, especially being within walking distance to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Small town vibe with local shops and restaurants nearby. Luca and the other volunteers were very passionate and impactful to the cause. They made me feel welcomed from start to finish. The tasks and schedule was clearly defined from the beginning. Keep in mind Las Galeras is tropical so bring insect repellent and sunscreen for a more comfortable nights rest. Finally, Luca cares passionately about his mother, it made me think of how much I love my mother as well.

Primer voluntariado, y quiero seguir haciéndolo la experiencia fue increíble. El hostal tiene una excelente ubicación. Las mejores playas que he visto (2 están a 5 min caminando). Luca es una persona flexible y dispuesto apoyar, es gracioso la cantidad de conversaciones que genera de un solo tema. Los grupos de voluntarios son grandes esto genera un excelente ambiente aunado a las personas locales que asisten. Un tema a destacar es que Marina es una persona mayor con múltiples discordias hacia los voluntarios, lo que puede arruinar tu estadía, si no logras sobrellevar la situación.

Esta es la segunda vez que estoy en este hostel y nuevamente la experiencia fue positiva. La ubicación es ideal y las playas son realmente hermosas; la gente local es muy amable. Los voluntarios hacen que el ambiente sea agradable y las tareas son sencillas y fáciles de aprender. Luca es una persona amable, aunque podría fortalecer su liderazgo. El mayor desafío es la convivencia con la madre de Luca, cuyo comportamiento genera tensión constante con voluntarios y huéspedes, lo que dificulta momentos tan simples como cocinar o compartir espacios comunes. Es una experiencia que recomiendo.
